My regular Chinese spot was closed so I thought I’d give Royal Wok a shot.

I only got the orange chicken, but let me tell you, if you’re used to the regular super sweet orange chicken everyone else makes, this is a massive departure.

And I loved it. There were also a ton of broccoli and cabbage in it, which I loved as well. Service was fast and friendly. Atmosphere is, well, irrelevant to the food. its more of a takeout spot anyway. I will absolutely be back.

This is the closest to Wongs Wok you’ll ever get! Probably better for most ppl but I loved WW. They are slow though and very busy for the 4 hours they are open so be prepared to wait. Even if you call ahead (if they answer)

Food was good. The fried rice was just a little bit too much soy sauce. I was just a little too salty, but it was still banging. I had it with the large shrimp. Shrimp was OK. I don’t like the cream puffs as good as I like crab Rangoon, which is the same thing from other places, but it was still good. Everything was decent..

There are several Chinese restaurants within a few miles of me, but Royal Wok is by far the best. The food is great, service is friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable. This is definitely a pick-up place and not somewhere you eat inside. Also, the sweet and sour chicken is amazing – the chicken is similar to the original chicken crispers from Chili’ (that they got rid of!).

The only place I go for Chinese food. I have been coming here ever since they opened over 10 years ago. I live 20 minutes away but that doesn’t stop me. It is that good. The food is cooked fresh but the wait is worth it. I recommend calling in for pick up so you don’t wait too long. The fried rice is top notch, the fried chicken is well breaded and doesn’t fall apart, and the orange beef is so tasty. The owners have been so nice and call you by name. If you love Chinese food you have to come try this gem of a restaurant. You will not be disappointed. I recommend the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce and pour it over your white rice. Your welcome.
