Sweet tea chicken & cucumber salad fabulous. Also chicken & dumplings yummy. Have been there a number of times. Limited menu. My only peeve is that they are out of their speciality items a lot lately. Substitute and don’t tell you till it arrives. They need to be much more consistent. We like this restaurant and want it to prosper.

This place is really good. In an area that has little in the way of food this place make some great dishes. We stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. The chicken fried chicken was great. The fried green tomatoes we’re exceptional and the Mac and cheese was perfect. The service was outstanding as well. It’s nice to see a place try so hard when everything else in the market doesn’t. I assume this place will be the go to here from now on.

Great Place! Service was fantastic, our waitress was kind, great sense of humor,proud of “our” place and food served. I had the gooey grilled cheese sandwich and home made creamy mushroom soup. Yummy. My husband ordered the country fried chicken sandwich. He reported it was excellent. Dessert , homemade peach cobbler, like mama used to make.

Been here several times with the family! Good southern cooking , just like your grandmother made. Their sweet tea fries chicken is my personal favorite item. The service is always great and the sitting is comfortable and gives you a welcoming experience.

The food was amazing! Portions are huge and everything is so flavorful. Must try the fried chicken. It is by far the best I’ve ever had! The loaded fries were like no other and the sugar cream pie was like the pie version of funnel cake. Service was excellent. We really enjoyed sitting outside and just watching the goings on of the town.

The staff was so nice, the food good but for the biscuits. Maybe it was a kind I wasn’t used to, but it bit doughy inside. My chicken was good, the fried were perfect, and my husband said it was the best Reuben he’d ever eaten. Very attractive building, clean and comfy. We will be back even though it is a bit over an hour away.
