Environment & Design:
The space is elegant, and as a designer/luxury builder by trade, I recognized many of the design elements and sourcing. They did a good job creating a refined atmosphere.
The Rating – Why 3/5:
It ultimately comes down to two things: the food execution and the service.
1. Food Quality (Adults 4/5, Kids 3/5):
For a Friday night with only one other couple dining well before closing, the food could have been stepped up. The gluten-free pasta was solid, but the gluten-free bread was hard, dense, and unfortunately tasted artificial. I had the Barese, it was good, but for the portion size and price, it felt overpriced, even for Summerlin.
For the kids, the meatball was unexpectedly spicy and not something you’d think to serve on a kid’s entrée.
2. Service Experience (This is what truly brought it to a 3/5):
Our server, I will call her M (not publicly shamming) did not deliver the level of service the environment sets you up to expect. The menu wasn’t explained, our questions felt like an inconvenience, and the entire interaction felt rushed.
The biggest issue came at the end of the night when she asked about dessert. The kids’ menu clearly states at the bottom: “a fresh fruit starter & a sweet gelato treat.” When I mentioned this, she insisted the kids did not get gelato. Arguing with a guest about what’s printed on your own menu is never a good look.
She eventually brought the gelato for the kids and even a slice of gluten-free cake for my wife and i, which made it feel like she realized it was a mistake, but by then the damage was done.
Final Thoughts:
I truly want Sorellinas to succeed, there’s a lot of potential here. But if you’re going to charge premium prices, the service needs to match the standard set by their other restaurants, and the kid’s meals should be treated with the same care as the adult’s.
We spent a decent amount of money for our meal, which I’m always more than happy to pay when the experience reflects it. Unfortunately, this time, it didn’t.
Love vodka pasta with buratta and Bronzino .
Highly recommended this spot for locals , new and beautiful inside
Our recent dinner at Sorellina Cucina Italiana, right as they opened their doors, was an absolutely enchanting experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the restaurant’s stunning aesthetic truly set the stage for an unforgettable evening. We knew instantly we were in for a good time!
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. We indulged in what can only be described as the best pasta we have ever tasted: the **Mafaldine Puttanesca** and the **Paccheri Alla Sorellina**. Each dish transported us directly to Italy – a country I’ve yet to visit, but now feel I’ve experienced through Sorellina’s authentic and exquisite flavors.
The **Taste of Parma** appetizer was a delightful start, featuring the most incredible olives and balsamic. And the **Chicken “Al Mattone”**? Oh, it was unbelievably juicy! Seriously, Sorellina, you need to start offering recreational cooking classes so we can learn the secret to that magnificent chicken!
Beyond the incredible food, the staff made us feel like cherished family. Our heartfelt thanks go out to **Arabella and Genevieve**, whose warmth and attentiveness made our visit truly enjoyable.
And let’s talk about desserts! The **Olive Oil Lemon Cake** was a universal favorite, perfectly moist and delicately flavored. Anna’s Italian cookies were also wonderfully soft and a delightful treat.
A huge bonus for us was the impressive selection of mocktails. We happily tried all three Italian Mocktails – the refreshing **Strawberry Spritz**, the crisp **Cucumber No-Jito**, and our absolute favorite, the **Pistachio and Cream**. That pistachio cream is utterly divine – I absolutely need it every day!
Sorellina Cucina Italiana is a true gem, delivering an unparalleled dining experience that blends exquisite flavors with heartfelt hospitality. We are already planning our return!

This is a perfect place for a date night or a dining experience beyond a daily dash. If you take your time, and drink in the experience with good people, you will be hard pressed to find significant fault.
To Sorellina: Grazie per il cibo!
Plenty of parking available, which is always a plus in Vegas. Overall, a great spot for Italian food with good service and a comfortable atmosphere.
