The meats were good, very tender. But the sides.. my fries were cold and the dirty rice was not good at all, it had no flavor and it was hard and mushy at the same time. Plus, it wasn’t even filled up maybe like 2 teaspoons full in the container! Needless to say, I will not be going back anytime soon.

8/7- Going to have to UPDATE MY REVIEW- The pork egg rolls I received should of never have left the kitchen let alone boxed up and given to a customer. Very disappointing. They are so burnt they are not edible.

I had an absolutely wonderful time here. We had a large (20+) group who came directly at opening time for a planned event. Our server, Ashley, was an absolute star , providing exquisitely patient and detailed service to each person at our many tables. The food arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. However, as mentioned, the featured event of this time was the service of our server. Ashley was prompt, attentive, and courteous. I would highly recommend this Sonny’s! I work in a public service industry, so I know excellent service when I see it. Also the barbecue pork egg rolls are slammin’, try em, you’ll like em.

Take out 2 pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans side, and coleslaw side. Coleslaw container was sealed tightly but was only half full when opened. For the price of the individual sides this is unacceptable

We were very disappointed with the service and the food tonight. It took over 45 minutes to get our dinner and we just ordered the turkey big deal and the chicken wings. It should not have taken that long. The half-and-half tea was not sweet, the service was very slow. The server said that they had a lot of takeout orders. There should have been more staff if they were going to cater more to the takeout orders, then to those sitting in the restaurant.
