We are here visiting Fayetteville for the first time and I asked for some “Carolina BBQ” now I have had BBQ from Texas, Oklahoma, before. This one tonight was super tender with a very lite smoke. If you enjoy a light smoke then this is the place for you. The platter we got was for 4 adults and we had left overs. The vine was nice n quiet but it was a Tuesday evening. I would definitely come back for more 😉 plus they had some cool shirt with some funny logos or saying on them 😉

Stopped into Mac’s Speed Shop for lunch and it hit the spot. The barbecue was solid, portions were good, and everything came out quick. We grabbed a couple beers and the vibe was exactly what you want for a casual lunch… relaxed, clean, and not trying too hard. Staff was friendly and checked on us without hovering. Overall a really good spot if you want good food, cold drinks, and an easy lunch break. Would definitely swing back by.

I went here with one of my girls and damn that sandwich was good as hell. I will a thousand percent be back. I’m a picky eater and I tend to make safe choices. Let me tell you, I’ve had so many crispy chicken entrees, and damn, this is the best chicken I’ve ever had. I was torn between so many main dishes, but landed on the buffalo chicken wrap, and hats off to the chef—I could eat this every day for the rest of my life. They crisp the chicken sooo well and the seasoning is perfection. Amazing. The side of waffled sweet potato fries were so damn good too—nice and crispy, not soggy. The servers and service were awesome; I will be back with my husband!

Great service and atmosphere. The Bacon Jam Bison Burger was outstanding.! The Garlic-Parm Mashed Potatoes not very good. Great beer selection. Definitely wish a stop. I will try other side next visit.

The pulled pork was amazing, very tender & seasoned well! Fried okra was the best we’ve ever had. The collard greens were also very good, flavor was great & the little bite at the end was perfect. Would definitely recommend everyone stop in for some good food!

I went to Mac’s Speed Shop and ordered briket sandwich to go and Brunswick stew. The staff was friendly and the brisket was very good. I had to add BBQ sauce to the Brunswick and then it was good as well. Next time I will dine in Real Score 4.3

This place is great! My second time visiting. Both times it felt warm and inviting. The food was hot a nd delicious both times. Very well prepared. Served as fast as could be expected considering peak hours. Hosts are professional and friendly. Our server was wonderful, lots of fun. The other servers stayed professional and busy, tidying up and and serving others. Management was attentive and courteous as well. Which was refreshing considering some places you never see them. It’s clear there is good leadership at Mac’s. My new go to restaurant. Thank you all for just having strong work ethics and sharing friendly vibes!!

We visited during posted staffed hours and waited at the entrance for quite some time without being acknowledged, even though the bartender and another staff member clearly saw us. A simple greeting would have made a big difference.
Once seated, our server asked for our drink order before we even had a chance to settle in. When I requested a Painkiller cocktail, she said she wouldn’t recommend it because the bartender doesn’t make drinks well, which felt unprofessional and concerning. To make matters worse, our food arrived below warm. Overall, the experience felt unwelcoming and disappointing.

A great spot with fantastic food options and a decent selection of beer on draft and specialty cocktails. Wheather you want BBQ or something more standard, Macs has something that will hit the spot. Wings are big and satisfying with lots of sauces to pick from, burgers are juicy and cooked to order, you can’t go wrong! Side options are all great, mac and cheese is the way to go for sure.
