Social Profile:

Established in 2007, Somewhere in Bangkok is Southington’s family-style Thai restaurant. We serve both well-loved dishes like Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) as well as lesser known (but still delicious) dishes like Som Tum (Papaya Salad) and Thai curries. After your meal, we also offer a selection of homemade cakes ranging from our signature coconut cake, almond coffee cake, to crepe cake. We’re open for lunch, dinner, and would love for you to come visit us!

Colorful walls & artwork frame this BYO Thai eatery preparing curries, noodles & other standards.

There is a bit of a wait as it’s a smaller restaurant but it’s worth it! The food is very fresh, tastes good, and evidently is prepared by people who care. There is boba and some interesting drinks options but we didn’t try so I am unsure. Though I’m confident many people were saying how much they enjoyed them. We will be coming back, glad we found a place to eat Somewhere in Bangkok.

it’s so cute. The menu is huge so there is a lot to choose even the drinks menu “no alcohol ” but they are BYOB. I had wonton soup delicious and flavored and pineapple fried rice and no its not sweet. lol

Do NOT go to this place if this is your first time experiencing Thai as it sets the bar WAY too high. Amazing food cooked how you want it if you ask. Completely allergen knowledgeable. I’m celiac and they are way more than knowledgeable they’re also accommodating. Like the sound of a dish but it isn’t gluten free? They’ll make it gluten free. The bring your own alcohol is just another plus. Have your favorite wine/beer/liquor while you eat. Been going here for about 14 years and will definitely continue.

First time here. The menu is huge which I love but it makes it hard to choose. The apps we had were delicious, the soup was so flavorful, and I didn’t know what to expect from my entree, but it exceeded my expectations! Portions were large too! I was beyond pleased. Only negative was the cleanliness. The place looked like it might need a little maintenance. I would 100% come here to eat again.

Excellent!! Heard great things about this place, so I went for boba a few times, but everyone said the food was a must have. I decided I had to give it a try and definitely was impressed. Great service and the food didn’t take too long to come out either. We enjoyed everything we had and definitely plan on coming back to try more! (lettuce wraps, edamame, pad Thai, and clear rice noodle stir fry with pork… forgot the exact name of the dish but everything was delightful)

My 1st time at a Thai food restaurant and not the last. The service at this location is excellent and the food was extraordinary. We had the gyoza and crispy asparagus for an appetizer, the chicken with queen st noodles (recommend) perfect amount of spicy. The crab fried rice (a must have) 2 pad See EW one with tofu and one with chicken and a Poh Tak (sea food soup) excellent taste.

The food was average. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. I probably will go back and try a different dish but it was okay

First time trying Thai food, and was told this place is the best Thai restaurant around. After trying this place, I can see why people love it so much! Clean atmosphere and nice interior designs with many different food options and bubble teas! Loved the popular shrimp! My boyfriend really loves their spicy curry too.
