Many years ago I feel in love with this restaurant in its alley location near Court Street. This was my first time to dive at this “new to me” location. I had first enjoyed the smoked pork bowl years ago, and was pleased it was still available on the menu. My spouse ordered the chicken version of the bowl, and our guest ordered a hamburger. All items arrived in a timely manner. The portions were great, as were the temperatures and of course, the flavor. The touch of smoke to the pork brought back memories of that familiar dish, but I tasted the chicken dish of my spouse and enjoyed the lime/citrus flavor in the chicken seasoning. We had the Cuban sandwich, a salad, avocado “fries”, chicken fajitas. Service was great. Food was good. Location is on busy State Street but outdoor patios are rare in this town so it was nice to sit outside on a nice day. Inside also nice & cozy. Umbrellas on tables outside would be nice. Prices decent too. I liked the menu a lot. Vegan & Vegetarian options too.

Cubano. What a great find! An easy to miss family owned restaurant and bar in an area overrun with chain restaurants. The place is island and Cuban themed throughout with it’s decor. The food is fresh, local and appeared to be made fresh daily. The bar is a small but the drinks were good and a little strong in a good way. I love a scratch made margarita and theirs was great! The place was not very busy the night we were there so we had extremely attentive service but I suspect that the service is usually friendly and prompt. I think my favorite thing was the photos of Hemingway, Havana and the island life.

Nice environment. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Food is good, maybe could have a larger menu to chose from. Only a single bathroom for men and a single for woman seems it should have more bathroom for this size of restaurant. This creates a line outside of patrons waiting to use the toilet.

This restaurant has drastically gone down hill over the last 2-3 years. Service is quite slow. The food has certainly dropped in quality, I can hear a microwave beeping from the kitchen as I am sitting here. They have new outdoor seating that is essentially in an undecorated parking lot. Really hope they do something to improve this place because I used to love it

Great burger, cooked to temp, tasty bun that didn’t get all messed up by the juices which meant they rested it well. Fries were hard to stop eating and last but not least, the water wasn’t chlorinated which means it actually tasted good
