Went to Sofia’s with some friends for a girls night out. We were seated in the back, a beautiful room with a huge chandelier hanging above. As we were walking to our table I overheard a guy with a foreign accent, saying that “women don’t spend money, they have no potential.” Gross. A few minutes later, he introduces himself as Vinny our waiter. Lucky us. I refused to let it spoil the night. He took our order and kept trying to be funny, but he was really dry. We were not amused. We tried to ask about the menu, but his answers were mostly one word accompanied by “it’s good you’ll like it”. He was really hard to understand.

The service was excellent, ans the staff was very friendly. The raw shellfish was fresh and delicious. The hummus was incredible. My tuna steak was cooked perfectly. Even the bread and olive oil were delicious. Great cocktails. Chill atmosohere. Will definitely come back.

Incredible!!! The food was so delicious from the appetizers the dessert. Our waiter, Dave, is a super friendly person, very helpful and ready to accommodate the patrons. The restaurant is beautiful and huge. However, the atmosphere is not loud or intrusive. I definitely recommend Sofia’s your experience will be well worth it.

The mango halibut was delicious, and so was the trio dip appetizer. I enjoyed dining in their outdoor seating, it was very calm and relaxing, and adds a ton to the experience.

Service was very poor – specifically Vinny the server, oblivious, rude, and just bad… At one point he served us the complete wrong drink that had no alcohol (was a Tito’s vodka) he replied “yes it does” – then proceeded to come back with a different drink admitting that he grabbed the wrong one. When someone tells you it doesn’t taste like alcohol, why fight them he didn’t even smell it, was foolish of him.

We have been to Sofia’s many times. However, this time we were disappointed with our meals. 3 out of 4 of us were disappointed. The Cod special was undercooked. The tuna was overcooked. The crab cake was underwhelming. The apps were good, and the ice cream ball was delicious. Hopefully, this is a one-time off night.

We arrived in the restaurant, waiting for one of our group. We asked the waitress to order appetizers while we were waiting. She informed us that you cannot order an appetizer unless you order a whole menu that you’re eating including the main course. We finally ordered the four dip appetizer. The waitress asked us if we would like vegetables with the dip we said yes, the vegetables consisted of a few carrots and celery maybe eight pieces. When we got the bill, those eight pieces of vegetables were called crudites. They are and $10 to our bill of almost $250 for four people. One of us ordered a main course salad. It look like a side salad. The food overall was mediocre and the service was below average.
