Decent BBQ with a pricey cost. Started off with the rib-let appetizer. It was good. We had the pulled pork and the brisket plate for our entrees. Each plate came with two sides of your choosing. I substituted them both out for a loaded baked potato at no additional cost. The brisket was my favorite meat here. The meat can be quite dry so make sure to load it with their delicious BBQ sauce! Overall this place has good BBQ but what they’re known for is their chow chow. Definitely not the best BBQ we’ve had but it was good. For the price I will say the portion sizes are lacking. Definitely give it a try as it is local to HSV and rated one of the top 10 BBQ restaurants in the US!

Large venue with a sports theme and counter service. There are a lot of options on the menu, it’s a lot to take in.
I got the pick 2 (ordered deviled eggs before I realized you could get that as a side) and added a cup of chili. Overall above average barbecue but has room for improvements. Did not realize they were famous for their dessert until after I ordered.
Brisket, not bad. Good smoky flavor, slightly dry but still good.
Ribs, tough, didn’t finish. Good smoke ring not does not fall off the bones.
Okra, tasty
Deviled eggs, filling had good flavor but egg whites were hard.
Chili, legit the best part of my meal. The fresh onions and cheese really brought it home.
Will likely come back for some more chili and desserts.

Everything about this visit was exceptional. The cashier who took our order was pleasant, welcoming, and took time to explain the menu. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The dining room attendant was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Several tvs surrounding the dining area so you could view the games. Our food was brought to the table in a timely manner and it was appealing. We ordered the turkey and rib dinner and a 1/4 burger with fries. Everything tasted delicious! It was hot and fresh. Will definitely be back when I visit Huntsville again. Kudos to the whole team who worked this afternoon.

My drink got half way filled and it’s a large the girl was kinda rude and it took her like 5 mins to add a drink to our order like she didn’t know what she was doing I went to take a drink and realize my cup felt light so I opened it and it was like this you should probably tell your workers to fill the drinks up that people pay for!!!!

This place taste just like normal barbecue that you can do yourself on a grill. The sauces they have is not good at all. The chicken was OK, but the ribs was not all that. Collard greens and bake beans was good not the potato salad. The deviled eggs are good and the sweet tea was good. I will be probably my last I order to eat. But I will say an Employee their name heavenly make sure that nothing was missing out of my order. She went all the way out by writing it down and making sure I really do appreciate that.

I am so disappointed!
We have been here several times and gotten the value pack to go through the drive thru. We did it again tonight. We should have known it was not going to be a good outcome because the gentlemen working the drive through started our order and then disappeared. We asked if he was still there, no response. We drove around. We asked if he got our order- no. So we ordered the value pack with brisket, two sides, cookies and bread.
We got home and the brisket wasn’t brisket. It was pure fat. I expect a little fat but there was no meat- none! I called the manager and she said, I’m sorry. I live too far away to just turn around and go get a replacement. No offer to refund, nothing.
So $40 for two sides, 4 hamburger buns, 4 cookies and a pile of fat.
Never again and I would recommend staying away. Service and food has dropped to something not worth entering the parking lot!

Cute place with large TVs and lots of seating. We each ordered two meat plates that came with two sides. There was a $3 upcharge for the brisket, and a $1 upcharge for the ribs. One of us got baby back ribs and the other got spare ribs. The spare ribs were better, but both were good. The brisket was awful….a small serving, and it was mostly fat….very greasy, and barely any actual meat on it. The fried green tomatoes were stellar…best part of the meal actually. The baked beans were tasty and the mac and cheese was creamy and yummy. We didn’t love the sauces….the house sauce was really salty, and the white sauce tasted like ranch dressing. Overall, not terrible, but not the best we’ve had. We did get two slices of pie to go, so I am hoping those will be super yummy based on the reviews. We will give this place one more chance to see if we just happened to be there on a bad night.

The smoked chicken was quite tasty but the rest was disappointing. Baked beans were also good with darker sweet sauce. Good cornbread muffins. Biggest let down was the brisket. No smoke ring really, and about half of the slices was fat. Looked more like thick, fatty under cooked bacon. Nice place with plenty of seats. Baby back ribs are small but shouldn’t be ‘skinny’.

I ordered 1 lb of smoked pork that came with “BBQ sauce”. The meat was VERY DRY AND CRISPY. I asked for slaw with it but they either didnt put it in or didnt have it. The bbq sauce was chunky and tasted and looked like A1 sauce. It wasn’t good. Lawler’s is better. For the price I paid for mediocre food, I won’t be back.

This was my first time visiting this establishment and I must say I will Not be back!!!! I ordered two loaded baked potatoes with pulled pork. The potatoes were huge but had been reheated, the BBQ sauce was nothing but ketchup and the pulled pork was boiled tasteless meat, no flavor, like putting invisible meat in your mouth and expecting it to taste like something. I should’ve known better when I pulled up to the drive thru and nothing smelled like bbq. The staff was friendly that’s the only kind thing I can say. For 27.00 dollars it should have had some resemblance of bbq taste. I will definitely not recommend this establishment to anyone.
