Came into Social House Grand Rapids and instantly loved the vibe. I ordered an espresso martini and it was so good, honestly one of the best I have had. The space is fun and welcoming and feels like a place you actually want to hang out. Everything at Social House Grand Rapids looks amazing in person! Definitely worth stopping in.

Came in the other day for a drink and tried the February drink specials. This month’s specials all looked so good! I was not disappointed with my chocolate covered strawberry martini! Thanks to the wonderful staff for helping me choose which one to try. I will definitely be back to try next months!

I had the best time with friends at Social House! I had a hard time deciding what to get, but Melanie & Zach steered me towards the Power Bowl. I added grilled chicken, and as you can tell, it was SO GOOD! Awesome atmosphere, great service (thank you Zach & Melanie), and delicious food. I will DEFINITELY be back!

What a cool nightclub spot Social house has become, with amazing food and excellent service as well. Great music and dancing on the weekends. Social house is the place to be on weekends in Grand Rapids.

Cool little spot downtown, had a gigantic pretzel for appetizer!! It was served with mustard, cheese, and cinnamon butter (that was not so great).
It is seat yourself which was fun to watch right before a concert but also quite efficient. Tables turn over alright and there is some outside seating. Decorated well, prices were reasonable.
Our waitress was good and the location is nice downtown. Men’s restroom was down at our visit but they do also have 2 unisex stalls and a women’s room. Maybe worth a visit if your are in Grand Rapids, fries are crispy and good but slight sweeetness which is odd and unique.

We hosted our Engagement party here and let me tell you, everything was immaculate! Rebekah helped plan our event and it was so special! Our waitress Anya is the best and we are so appreciative of her hard work paired with all of the hands that prepared the food! The atmosphere, service, food, overall experience was amazing! 10/10 recommend!

2lb pretzel did not disappoint! It was the perfect appetizer for our group. I went on to order the Social House Burger and wow. It was a little hard to eat with the cheese smothered on top. However after flipping the bun it was quite delicious and manageable. I’d definitely go back if I was in Grand Rapids again!!

Had a great experience at Social House thanks to our bartender, Melanie. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. The food was also great and really topped off the whole experience.

Went there for Halloween this past Saturday (November 1st) got there at 7:30 pm and was given a blue bracelet and was allowed entry. The bouncer NEVER told us they expire at 8pm. We end up leaving and bar hopping for a while before we decided to come back around 11pm we waited in line for so long, my friends started to have to use the restroom really bad and I had met some people in line and because I had already gotten a blue bracelet earlier in the night I thought I was allowed to get in, so I told them to go find a restroom and I’d wait, the line had been barely moving so I figured they’d be back before I got in as well. Well of course as soon as they leave the line starts moving fast and suddenly I’m at the front and the bouncer tells me he needs my ID, and that’s when I realized I did not have it nor did I have my phone. I showed them my bracelet and they kept telling me those expired at 8 and if I had no ID I had no entry. So I stood by the bouncers and waited because I’m not from the area at all, and I didn’t have any way of finding my friends and I wasn’t about to try and go find them, I figured I was safest there. I had asked someone while I was standing there if I could use their phone, but they said their phone was in the DJ booth and they didn’t have it. So then I turned to the bouncers and asked them another question and I explained my situation and they just kept saying no ID no entry. I could’ve used a manager or they could’ve offered me some kind of help or smthing, they clearly did not care, and I did not know what to do, so I just kept standing there and waiting for my friends to come back. Then this guy comes up to me and starts making really uncomfortable remarks about my body and starts touching me and making me super uncomfortable. I asked him if he had a phone and he said he did not, I asked him where the bar was that my friends were at and if he’d take me there because I felt like that was the only option I’d had, looking back I know it was dumb, but I was thinking I guess I’d endure the creepiness for some help at this point. As we started walking he got more handsy and wouldn’t let me go and kept trying to get me to go to his car. Luckily, some kind bystanders stepped in and the guy immediately took off. I’m not sure who the bouncers were that night or if they work for this establishment outside of this, but it’s extremely disappointing that they cared more about not letting people in than anything else. I wasn’t rude, I was extremely nice and very scared, I could’ve used some kind of help I didn’t need to be allowed in, but they could’ve done something for me and they did not. I was in there earlier I had shown them my ID and I was not told that my wristband expired or else I definitely wouldn’t have stayed waiting in that line. If this is how business is conducted especially when it comes to nightlife, then you need to do better.

Came in tonight and the bar was great overall, but I have to shout out MEL. She was attentive, friendly, and on top of everything even when it was busy. You can tell she actually cares about the experience. Give that girl her flowers
