I am a smoked bbq rib lover and I live on the gulf coast. I have generally found reasonably descent ribs on my Florida travels but generally, nothing to eat home about! I recently traveled to the east coast, Miami, and while looking for a particular business I got lost and wound up at a location that had food truck; bbq rib vendor and other meats and side dishes. I thought what the heck; I’m hungry: I approached the vendor counter called Smokey Trails BBQ and ordered a rack of St Louis ribs thinking I’ll eat and have some for later:
for my trip back to the west coast. All I can say is if you are ever in Miami you MUST stop at the stand and stock up. Hands down, I have never tasted better ribs in my life. The owner/food chef Gregg was terrific; friendly, and boastful about his love of making great bbq. Was he ever deserving of a review! Easily the best place I ever got lost, hungry. My only regret is I didn’t buy enough. If I was to need a menu for a party, Smokey trails would be top of my list for catering an event. Gregg deserved a thank you for his attention to cooking detail and top quality eats!

Very convenient location. Meat tender and tasty! This spot is a good representation of southern BBQ! Right off I-95 and 103 st. Portions are larger. Try it for yourself you won’t regret it.

Don’t miss the pulled pork and brisket, they are delicious. All accompanied by good offers of sauces (the sweet barbecue is our favorite). It is worth knowing the charms of this grill. Service is super quick. There is not much room to eat there, but we always find a way in the car or sitting on the sidewalk. Favorite steakhouse in Miami.

If you want really good barbecue trust me this is the place. I am a barbecue pitmaster. I love to barbecue for myself. I’ve gone all over the state looking for barbecue and I cannot find anything that’s on point. Smoky trails is unbelievably good the ribs, the brisket and the chicken were on point. I usually don’t write reviews, but I have to write a review on this because I am a Barbie fan and is so hard for me to find any barbecue place that’s worth a damn this man has got this thing going off if you want really good barbecue this is where you need to go trust me on this.

I have been coming to this barbecue joint for the past 7 years and I have to say this place offers amazing “Smoked with wood” barbecue that is exceptional above any other BBQ place I have been too. (And trust me I’ve been to a lot) with a variety of menu items that also includes side dishes and drinks, there’s a variety of different things to choose from. One of my personal favorite meat they have is their brisket. I personally know people that drive all the way from North Florida just to come and try his brisket it’s that good!! His ribs,chicken, pulled pork and sausages are also all amazing. The choices of sauces is always a plus! I will always recommend this place to everyone that I know and if you’re reading this post trust me just go there and try it out the food will speak for itself !!!!!
