I used to like coming to smokey bones for the cookie sundae. But this new brownie sundae is ridiculous. $11 dollars for a tiny brownie cut into 4 squares, theres no way its worth that much. I’ll definitely be returning this tomorrow when they open.

Joey is the best server in all of Lakeland!! He runs the entire restaurant when I dine there. From seating us quickly, to having our drink order on the table in minutes, we never wait for anything the entire time we are there. Fast, friendly service is the name of his game! He states when he seats you that his name is Joey and he will be taking good care of you and that is no joke. Smokey Bones should treasure him as an employee.

Right when we thought Smokey Bones couldn’t get any better, we met Kaitlyn, our waitress. Not only was she attentive, she was also very friendly. She wears a smile and always made sure our expectations were surpassed. I highly recommend Smokey Bones & more specifically their Nachos. It is plenty of food for two people and so so yummy.

The food is rather pricey but good overall. Originally ordered sweet tea, which was barely sweet and tasted like it had sat for a bit, but it was a little after 9pm, so no big deal, we ordered sodas instead. The mushroom swiss burger was great (I ordered without the horseradish sauce it comes with); the flavor was really good and it had really nice, crispy onion rings on it.
