We had made plans with grandkids, last thing…go get ice cream. Checked to see if they were open, yes! opens at 12, perfect. We get there at 1:30 after their lunch and doors were locked tight. This has happened several times. Didn’t want to give up on this place but no choice. They are NEVER open! So don’t make plans to head to this place.

Sunday May 7th at 8:30pm.. I’m sitting here at Smitty’s as I type this review. And the doors are locked. Your hours say open til 9pm on Sundays, so i drove all the way up here, only to waste my time, energy, and gas. But most importantly, my nephew was terribly disappointed. Reading other reviews here, I see several other customers have complained about the same issue with your store closing early. It’s very unprofessional, and disrespectful And unappreciative to customers, to not keep public store hours honored. A reputable business can’t just choose what hours they want and close whenever they choose. Your customers are wasting trips, you’re losing business and also people. Very disappointed. We won’t be coming back.

I keep on trying to go here on a weeknight after dinner but they’re always closed when I show up. Despite google, their voicemail, and their website saying they’re open until 9pm, I only found after calling several times that they close at 7pm. Can’t recommend an ice cream place that you can’t trust if they will be open.

Best quality Ice cream you can get in this county! I don’t know if they count as commercial, but the small business feel to it makes the quality increase. Someone made this ice cream with love in their hearts and it shows in the taste, the customer service, and just in the air of the interior of the business.
