Bridge Tender Inn is one of my favorite dive bars in the area. The tiki bar is right on the water and it’s difficult to not be happy there. Lots of smiling friendly people, great music, cocktails and food. What’s not to love! The sign says up to a two hour wait, however I’ve always gotten a seat at the tiki bar right away either solo or party of two. It’s a Green Bay Packers fan bar and they do have TVs outside to watch sports. Some recent changes I’ve noticed are the prices seem to have gone up like most area restaurants and some portions decreased. Also, the parking is now a “pay to park” situation at a whopping $13+ fees per hour! See pic posted. This change happened after the storms in 2024. It looks like the tiki bar was redone, but still has that grungy feel which I love. And you can dock your boat there if traveling by water. Also for a donation, you can try your luck throwing snowballs at the target over the pier to get a free drink. Always a good time here!

Delicious Steak & Cheese sandwich and au jus! Great location in the heart of Anna Maria. Fun Packers theme. Great place if you’d like to watch a game.

The view and live music were the highlights for me. We sat by the water, and it was very nice. The grouper bites and clam chowder were good, but the rest of our food was… meh. It’s a Packer bar, so probably a fun spot on game day if you’re a fan.

Dinner tonight at the Bridge Tender. The service was excellent , Jill did a great job handling numerous tables and bartending duties as well. Luckily the main course was very good. I had grouper and my wife a steak sandwich. My issue was the sides, not only were they poor quality but were served in tiny plastic cups that you normally see condiments served in. The potato salad was devoid of potatoes and the slaw was full of tough stem pieces. For drinks and music it’s worth a try but Cortez and the island offer better quality and value food choices.

God! I love this place. Located on famous Bridge Street. Anna Maria Island. Waterfront views. Live entertainment daily. Great service. Great food. Pet friendly! By water feel free to dock your boat and walk a short distance to enjoy some delicious food and great service! I enjoyed their house salad and grouper bites blackened! Delicious Tender and packed full of flavor. The chicken salad wrap was also tasty to the palate and highly recommended. Who can complain about a hot beef sandwich. Food is always fresh and made to order if needed. Love you Bridge Tender. See you soon ✌ ❤️☀️

The Bridge Bar (aka Packer Bar) immediately caught our eye. Being from Wisconsin, we couldn’t resist checking it out while visiting Anna Maria Island—it felt like a little slice of home down in Florida. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with lots of Packers memorabilia and a friendly crowd that made us feel right at home.
We ordered a Bloody Mary, and it did not disappoint—well-balanced, flavorful, and definitely satisfying. We also grabbed a soft pretzel, and honestly, it was one of the best we’ve ever had. In fact, I’d put it in my top 3 soft pretzels of all time. It was warm, insanely fresh, and had the perfect chewy texture with just the right amount of salt. The beer cheese dip that came with it was smooth and creamy, adding a great savory touch that paired perfectly with the pretzel.
All in all, we’re glad we stopped in. Great drinks, tasty food, and a little Wisconsin comfort in the middle of paradise.

Amazing blackened grouper. Great service. Peel-n-eat shrimp was served cold, but awesome. The cocktail sauce was really good as well.

Lindsay was our server, and she was fantastic!!! The food was ok. My steak sandwich was a bit overcooked, and the pretzel was really dry. The atmosphere is great, and it’s s right on the bay. They had live music when we were there, and for us, that sets the mood. I definitely recommend stopping and asking for Lindsay, having a few drinks, enjoy the view, and the live music.

This is an open area restaurant, very casual and decorated in alot of Packers memorabilia. Fish tacos are excellent and they pack them with fish. Staff and patrons are friendly and fun. We booted here and easily found dockside parking. Best is you can bring your dog.
