My wife, daughter, son-in-law, and I visited this Smashburger location on a Sunday afternoon as we motored toward Talkeetna.. It had been a hot minute since I had enjoyed Smashburger since we don’t have them anymore in the OKC metro area..
My wife’s double smash cheeseburger and my own double smash bacon cheeseburger were delivered to the table hot, fresh, and exactly as we ordered them..
The daughter’s bun-less single smash cheeseburger and the SIL’s single smash jalapeño cheeseburger were also delivered hot, fresh, and exactly as ordered..
Service was fantastic and reasonably fast, the wait time for our food was just about right, and the store was clean and even offered a scenic view from the back patio when weather allows patio seating..
All in all, I’d say our visit was a resounding success and makes me miss the brand that much more.. Great job to staff at this location for fully delivering great food and a bonus side of nostalgic vibes!!

So I usually love smash burgers and the tots. But this order the smash tots were overly salty and one had no herbs on them. While my burger looks like it was wrap deconstructed… I know it was the end of the day but consistency is important to me. We would really appreciate just a bit more effort.

I had the Alaskan Kenai Single Smash….soooo good. The flavor of the patty was delicious and w/the cheese/jalapeño mix, AND the crunchy onions…. complimented it so very well!! My husband got an original and we both had some of each other’s. He enjoyed his very much as well. Son got cheeseburger kids meal and the cookie something or other shake (forgot the name) That was delicious we all had some!!! Would definitely recommend. Fast, very friendly service, and delicious food. The only thing I have to say that’s not good is that it’s can be quite loud in there. At times we had to holler to hear each other, but we would still go and dine in again. We liked the vibe!

Just went here for the first time with my family. The burgers were absolutely delicious for a fast food chain! We were very surprised! The atmosphere was pretty clean and the staff was very courteous. Definitely would recommend stopping here if your looking for a decent fast burger.

Went last night at 8:44 pm (time on receipt) and placed our order. The woman at the register said that they’re closing at 9pm and that the dining room is closed, even though the people that ordered right in front of us were able to eat their food in the restaurant. Since when does a restaurant tell customers that they can’t eat their food there when they don’t close for 15 more minutes?? We felt pretty discriminated against to say the least.
As we patiently waited for our order, we watched a worker proceed to put every chair in the entire place up on the tables, even around the two tables of people that were there eating their food. It was loud and extremely rude! Do these employees just want to leave at 9 on the dot? Is that the goal? Customer service VERY lacking! I hope Corporate reads this!
As a result of this blatant discrimination, we most likely will not be choosing SB next time we want a burger. There are plenty of friendlier places that like our business in this town.

We came here because the one in Anchorage was so amazing about being clean and careful about the gluten free options. Was in Wasilla for the day and needed a GF meal for my daughter who’s allergic. The lady who took our order was new maybe and she kindly asked the girl packing orders if the fries and tator tots are gf. The girl shrugged her shoulders rolled her eyes and just said “I don’t know. Probably”. I said it’s for a food allergy. It’s life or death. Can you ask and make sure? The kitchen was right there in front of her! She didn’t seem to care much at all. I wanted to leave. Especially since the dining room looked unsanitary due to lack of employees. I was kind to the cashier and I was absolutely not trying to be difficult at all. Celiacs disease is a very serious thing and it’s so hard to find good places. The gf buns were cold on the burger which made the burger cold. Our salad was filled with goopy slimy lettuce. My mom asked for a new salad and the manager said that the salad is supposed to be that way … smh. He replaced it w a fresh one. Sat down at a dirty table and ate our food and left. Had no other gf options so we dealt w it. So disappointed and I’ll definitely not be risking it again. The manager and cashier seemed nice enough and the food would have been amazing without the ick factors involved. Not even close to comparable to the Anchorage location. Pics are attached

We do not have Smashburger in the interior but love coming here when we’re in town. Food is always good. CS could use improvement but they do the minimal to get the job done and food out in a timely manner.

When looking for a great juicy burger look no further! Hands down great food! My personal favorite was the crispy Brussels Sprouts! Fries are excellent. The French onion double burger was delicious. My husband ordered a triple but isn’t a fan of mustard so if you aren’t either ask them to go easy on the mustard or hold it altogether. The fried pickles still had crunch and weren’t soggy in oil! Great family outing. Restaurant was clean and fast to the table service!
