The reason this place gets only 4 stars is because of the crazy high prices. However the milkshake and burger were great ($16.26 total) and my order was correct. It was sort of busy but all the employees seemed to be working fast because it wasn’t too long of a wait for my order. The employee who gave me my food was very friendly, I think her name was Mumelet. My order was correct

My first time in this airport, I wanted to try this place out. I ordered the Double Smash burger with an order of tater tots. The burger meat, cheese and veggies tasted pretty good. The taters totes were cooked almost perfect and for the price of it, they should be filling those taters and fries to the top. The really bad thing about this place is the service. It took about 16 minutes to get our meals. There were other people that ordered late and got their meals first before us and the people ahead were getting mad..

Ordered an All American with fries & a drink. I was told $15.26 so I gave her $16. She said they didn’t have pennies so I would be charged $15.30. I got me meal but had ne fries. She claimed she didn’t add them to my order. Burger was not cooked throughly. Service was not polite or pleasant in any way. I know it is the airport, but lets do better.

My first experience with Smashburger. Ordered at a kiosk. Took over 15 min to get food. Burgers were delicious with customizations done correctly. Smash fries were seasoned nicely. Regular tots could use some salt or pepper.

Had a fantastic first experience at Smashburger MSP! Keisha, the store manager was so friendly and helpful. I told her it was my first time at Smashburger and she gave some recommendations. She got me excited to try the double all-American smash and the smash Tots. When I was going to pay cash she said they don’t accept cash but then blessed me with a first time guest meal! I was blown away at this kindness. The food was super hot, fresh, and delicious!! 10/10 recommended!

Smashburger at MSP Airport is a must-visit for travelers! The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, while the fries are crispy and well-seasoned. Service is fast and friendly, making it an ideal spot for a quick, satisfying meal during a layover. Despite the busy airport atmosphere, the quality of food and efficiency stand out. Highly recommend stopping here for a delicious bite!

If you’re up burger junkie like me, then you probably need to stop here. This is a great burger place. Right about on par with five guys, maybe a little better even. Ordering from a kiosk is fast and straightforward, and that’s great. However the prep time could be better. Now, I know that any smashburger employee would say that it takes time to hand pat and cook a burger. Fine. But we live in the modern age here, and airports are a high traffic location. I think they could do better. Also none of the employees were in much of a hurry. I know, I know…. I can hear it now…. What am I? Some type of slave driver? No, I’m just a customer. And if your employees don’t work quickly enough, then you probably need to hire some new ones with more energy.

All in all, I’m glad I stopped there. And I had a delicious Burger. Therefore, I recommend it.

Tasty and fairly quick during light traffic at the counter. About 5-6 minutes (once ordered) with five orders ahead of mine. Two of the three ordering kiosks were out of service. So I needlessly waited almost as long to place an order as to receive it. The working kiosk was out of paper, so no receipt – problematic for some business travelers. $9.33 for a single-patty mushroom burger, sandwich only, no add-ons. Overly salty for my taste, but flavorful all the same. Not much to look at and not very big, but rather satisfying compared to most other fast food burgers these days. Nice beef patty with a crumbly, homemade sort of texture. No form-poured sponge-meat here, thankfully. In the end, I’d try it again, but there are other options to consider at MSP.

Update: another connection at MSP one month later showed two kiosks still out of order but receipt printing worked at the end of my order. Turnaround was about 6-8 minutes even with about 12 orders ahead of mine this time arriving at lunch hour. That’s very good for planning on a short connection. For about $1 more than last time, I got the classic burger with two patties. This would be my standard choice on future visits. Super juicy, fresh quality toppings and tasty, still a bit too salty. Next time, I would try to request no added salt during cooking.

Overall, this is a good option when passing through. Quick and satisfying.

Tucked between a Starbucks and a Chick-fil-A, this Smashburger in Terminal C is a solid airport burger stop. A double burger for under $11? In today’s economy, that’s practically a steal. The place could use a little tidying up (e.g. a wipe down of the ordering screens), but overall, it gets the job done. Moses recommends – just use some sanitizer after touching to ordering monitors.

If I could give this a zero I would. We came here on 2/7 around 12:10pm. 2 of the kiosks were not working and the last one only had a breakfast menu. We seen other people order at the counter and when my husband who had on a military hat tried ordering they told us to use the kiosk we informed them they were not working and she hesitated and said fine I’ll take it. We tried ordering the bacon cheeseburger for her to pause and say we don’t have bacon. We said ok and stepped aside for the man behind us to order which she had no problem helping him and he ordered a bacon cheeseburger with zero issue. How is this even acceptable! Seriously disappointing.
