Went in and didn’t have to wait and the waitress was kind and had a great smile thank you Jasmine E. I hope I got it right. She was dazzling and attended to my order. I got the Eggs Benedict it was refreshing with a kiss of lemon. Eggs were perfect. I also got the multi grain pancakes which were very good. And it was very clean. I also observed the great teamwork and ethics in the employees. Trendy decor. God bless you all for making my visit awesome. May God bless your business. ☕

I love coming here on breakfast dates with my husband. No matter what state we are in we always manage to find a “First Watch,” to dine at. Today our server at The Grove Lane location in Newark DE was Daniella. She was such a joy to have. Very attentive and accommodating. It seems that this chain can never prepare my scrambled eggs correctly. No matter how many times I ask for soft runny eggs they always manage to come out fully cooked. Daniella was very apologetic and sweet, she was determined to get me eggs this morning. Finally after the 4th time she asked if I would prefer potatoes instead. The potatoes were sooooo good. The flavor profile was right on point. I’m not sure if they serve loaded home fries, if not they should. With the way they are seasoned some fried onions, crumbled bacon and cheese would be an amazing entree all by itself. Thank you Daniella for your amazing service. May God bless you, and we look forward to sitting in your section the next time we dine in.

Cozy and clean place with a nice atmosphere for breakfast. We ordered the Frittata Rustica, the Smoked Salmon & Roasted Veggie Frittata, and an omelette. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. Portions were generous and service was good. Some dishes were a bit salty for my taste, but overall it was enjoyable — a solid 4 stars. Would definitely return.

I ordered the biscuits and gravy through Uber Eats, as I had really enjoyed this delicious meal in the past. When I received my order, I was highly disappointed. The biscuit literally tasted like and appeared to be a canned Grands biscuit you buy at the grocery store: not fluffy and buttery, but rather as thin as a piece of toast, and worst of all completely burnt. It was inedible. I know the restaurant industry seems to be going through a rough time but I could have made that at home and wouldn’t have burned it, and it wouldn’t have cost $20 bucks!

The inside is clean and there is plenty of space to walk between tables. Staff is friendly and we got service with a smile and cheer! There is a great variety of food and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. Food came out fast and was warm with amazing flavor! I would absolutely recommend a visit and I will absolutely be coming back.

I found a small worm in my salad greens (photo attached). I understand that sometimes things like this can happen with fresh produce, but what concerned me most was the response. The waitress only apologized and that was it. There was no explanation or offer to properly address the situation. Usually, it’s a decent (not the best) experience at First Watch, but this time was really disappointing. Just sharing this so others know that if something like this happens, you shouldn’t expect any real response or compensation

This was our second time here (Newark location off 72 in DE) and this time we brought our daughter. We asked for Katherine again, I highly recommend her for your server. She is attentive, funny, and will answer any questions you have about the menu. The food was absolutely fantastic, I got the turkey sausage and gravy. It was light and fresh, not heavy. The bigger and more impressive thing was my daughter’s meal. She got the kids chocolate chip pancake with bacon. The kids meals are $7.95, she had one big pancake and she ate almost all of it. For context, she sometimes doesn’t eat half of a kids meal other places. The pancakes are light and airy, not heavy at all. My boyfriend got the chickichonga, which had a nice spice to it but not too spicy. The noise level is moderate. It was busy but we absolutely could hear ourselves, we didn’t have to yell to have a conversation. The portions are great for the price. And the quality of the food is absolutely worth it. Check it out and bring your friends you will want to go back.

The food was delicious and our server Morgan was great. Definitely a great place for a tasty meal. We got the Monterey Club, Tomato Basil Soup, Honey Crunch Iced Coffee and the Purple Haze juice. Everything was better than expected.
