Loved to see a fully plant based restaurant in East Tennessee! I’m from Knoxville and I visited Chattanooga for a weekend, and it feels like Chattanooga is much more plant-based friendly. I love their menu, I struggled to decide what to get because so much of it sounded good! I’m vegetarian, not vegan, but that’s the best part about fully vegan restaurants – I can eat everything there and try out vegan/non-dairy options! I got the tofu scramble and a lemon yerba <3 and it was delicious. I think it was a bit on the pricier side, but I really appreciated a high quality fully vegan restaurant.

We stopped in Chattanooga on our way from Atlanta to Nashville. We loved the casual bohemian vibe. sluggo’s has a large selection of 100% vegan options (not sure why they are listed as vegetarian…Everton the menu is vegan. ). They also have a good self alcoholic beverages and about 1/2 dozen non-alcoholic beers. The outdoor space is dog-friendly and comfortable.

The pecan crusted seitan on the Maghreb mash potatoes was amazing! Disappointed by the Buffalo wings. They were good but more like a meatloaf texture then wings. Service is great!

All time favorite vegetarian restaurant! Everything I’ve gotten here tasted amazing! I love all of the bowls, especially the Thai Chili Bowl and Golden Curry. The seitan Buffalo wings are incredible too. You really can’t go wrong here.

Great visit overall! The location is easy to find with plenty of parking behind the establishment. I liked the atmosphere and the food was tasty. I had the Culture Club and the Spicy Cheeky Wings. The club was a really good vegan sandwich!! It’s nice to be able to get a vegan deli style sandwich and chips at a reasonable price that is most importantly delicious. I was excited to try Sluggo’s North after searching for vegan restaurants in the area and specifically wanted to try the Culture Club which did not disappoint. The Cheeky Wings caught my attention on the menu as well so I ordered some on this visit. They were not spicy to me but they had a wonderful flavor profile and the texture was perfect. The dressing served with them complimented the flavor of the wings very well. I plan to try other menu items when I visit Chattanooga again. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have a good drink selection as well.
