This is our first visit to a Slim chickens. They had quite a variety menu of sauces and dry rubs to try get to serve your own soda and they did have desserts in a jar. I got the deep-fried pickles which were very salty some naked chicken nuggets, regular chicken nuggets I guess chicken strips they call them French fries and the bread. The skin on the chicken wings were a little bit tough and chewy however, the spice was perfect. The dipping sauces were good as well. Blue cheese was better than the ranch. Chris helped us out and he was really nice. He offered suggestions and came over to check on us to make sure that our food was good. The bathroom was clean. The staff was nice. The food was good a little pricey for the portion but seems to be how it is these days 10 out of 10? Recommend checking out this location plenty of parking and very accessible

Unfortunately, this location has went down drastically. We found a mouse tail fried to one of our tenders. I was working with the general manager, Jimmy Gibson, whose resolution was to provide a comp card. To prove there dedication to high standards. When we went to utilize the comp card the container of the third meal appeared to be maliciously smashed, the wings appeared deliberately poured into the bag. Which staff chuckled when I brought the items back in. The gm’s response was, I will work with my vendors. We will not be returning to this establishment and would recommend avoiding it as well.

I got great customer service, but the heart waffle ruined the amount of waffle i get. I measured it out and I’m loosing on waffle-per-dollar. Whoever let this decision go through is an abomination to the chicken and waffle name

Disappointed. Ordered the 7 piece tenders, no meal. The price was $14.00 for just the tenders. The price if I’d ordered the meal would have been $16.29. I was shocked when I was told the price. Won’t be returning. The tenders were good but not good enough to justify the same price as a whole pound and a half bag of tenders from the grocery store.

I just reviewed the slim chickens on Austin bluffs the day before this one, and I gave it 5 stars there, but here I had to drop one star overall because of the freshness overall, the fries were almost inedible and stale, the chicken strips weren’t that bad but still tasted a bit old. Everything else was great I understand food sometimes isn’t fresh made but this food was just sitting there for a while, either way I do recommend you try them out and I recommend the sweet and spicy sauce! Btw shout out to Joy for excellent service!

My family went through the drive-thru of this restaurant on Saturday. Earlier in the day we passed but we had never heard of this restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Club Sandwich Meal. Everything was fresh and delicious. Both my husband and daughter got the Slim’s Meal and they both enjoyed their meals as well. They were allowed to pick two sauces. I know one of the sauces husband picked was the Korean BBQ and it was absolutely the best! He also had the Slim Sauce which was not bad; he liked it. In my opinion this place is much better than Raising Cane, without a doubt. Unfortunately, for Chick Fil A, there’s no comparison. And if you’ve ever heard of Zaxby’s, there’s no comparison there either. But I would definitely return to this restaurant if I was in this area again to try other items on the menu.

Really good chicken sandwich! The Mac and Cheese was great too! The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was very clean for how busy it was at lunch time. They did accidentally mess up my order but they corrected it very quickly. They also have peach tea as a regular option, that was a nice surprise. I’ll definitely be back.

I had never been to a Slim Chickens before in my life until I first came to this one a few months ago. They have really good chicken, fries, Texas toast, and fry sauce. Their potato salad, house chips, and mac and cheese are very good. They have one of the BEST desserts I have ever had in my entire life! I had a Reese’s peanut butter cup cheesecake dessert and let me tell you what, it is literally one of the best things I have ever had before. Good thing I’ve only had it once because if I had that thing every day it would not be good for me LOL. I’ve also tried one of their side salads which is very good and fresh, they have great fried okra and they also have good sweet tea. The best part about going now is that you do NOT have to wear a mask inside as a guest, finally thank God!!! I would definitely recommend this place, will continue to come back with friends!!!

The menu includes comfort foods such as chicken strips, chicken sandwiches, chicken and waffles, and fried pickles. They give you a number, and bring food to the table, which went quickly too. A meal with fries and a drink is about $10. Our two meals were $22 with tax. The chicken strips were hot, the gravy dipping sauce was warm, but the bun on the sandwich was cool, even though it had clearly been toasted. The serving size of the fries was generous enough for two people, and they tasted like typical fries. There was plenty of room in the seating area, which was clean, and the bathroom smelled like bleach and also looked clean. Not a top favorite, but would try again.
