Believe the Hype! This place is so unassuming but an absolute hidden gem. I’ve never had authentic Italian food before but I was pleasantly surprised for sure. We will be returning and recommending to our friends and family too. Absolutely delicious!
We had the chicken parm panini and the forest flatbread (pinsa). Then ordered the cheese pizza, chicken Alfredo and lasagna Togo for our kids.

Slice of Venice is a lovely local, family-owned Italian spot with genuinely great food. You can see the kitchen and even watch them making pasta dough from scratch, which really shows the care and quality behind everything.

We had pizza and garlic breadsticks, and both were delicious. The garlic breadsticks were made with fresh garlic, which made a big difference, and the pizza was simple, fresh, and flavorful. I also saw online that they use non-GMO ingredients and keep things very simple, which is honestly amazing and not easy to find in restaurants.

A few small things could improve the experience: a couple more tables, numbered tables to make food delivery easier, and having plates and utensils readily available (sharing pizza without plates was a bit uncomfortable). The staff seemed very hardworking but a little stretched thin, so extra help could help things run more smoothly.

Overall, you can really feel the heart behind this place. With a few small improvements, it could easily become a neighborhood favorite. We’ll definitely be back for the food.

My wife and I saw this place on a TikTok, so we decided to check it out and support a local business.
The place was small and attached to a gas station but the food was amazing. They had a small team, so there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth the wait. We ordered the chicken alfredo and chicken parmesan panini, best we’ve had in Houston. We finished it off with a teramisu and like the previous dishes it was absolutely delicious. So we had to order lasagna and a margherita pizza to go. Over all an amazing hole in the wall that’s was worth the drive and the price, we will definitely be coming back to.

Stopped in today after seeing the restaurant on TikTok and realizing it was close by! The food was delicious! We had the mozzarella sticks, parmigiana pizza, and cacio e Pepe pasta. The food was delicious! Everything was fresh, homemade, and came out hot. I was so impressed by the flavors and quality of ingredients. Will be going back asap to try more!

Y’all, if you haven’t been to Slice of Venice of Louetta and Klein Church Road, you are MISSING OUT!! It is the BEST pizza I’ve had in town. We ordered the Granny pizza which had meatballs, fresh mozzarella and the crust…perfection! They are our new favorite pizza and pasta place. The owner goes in early every morning to hand make the dough. She told us how she recently switch flour for the dough because the previous company became to commercialized!!! She cares THAT much about the ingredients being authentic!

My daughter had the bolognese with HOMEMADE noodles. They cook the bolognese for 4 hours every day! It was delish!

Their takeout menu has coupons for next time!! Go support this local restaurant that could really use it and let the food tell you how amazing it is!

The owners are the SWEETEST people too!

The price was so reasonable especially for the quality. It’s in a gas station strip center so don’t let that fool you!

Wow! The best and the MOST delicious pizza I have ever tasted. Every topping on the pizza taste authentic and fresh, the dough is soft and chewy, the sauce is delicious, and the cheese is so creamy. The picture below is their Meat Lovers pizza and it is topped with delicious chicken breast, Italian sausage, olives, and peppers. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is both soothing and pleasant, they are pet friendly. The staff are kind and attentive. This is my 4th visit and i have not once been disappointed with my order. Highly recommend

We viewed some social media posts on how good the food was. Most people raved about the pizza. We stopped by to sample the pasta dishes. Our duo ordered the spaghetti/meatballs and the chicken Alfredo. Both were delicious and delivered table side while hot.

The food sauces were very good, tasted absolutely like the chef was cooking from memory, not a recipe. The chicken and the small meatballs maybe were frozen to start. The noodles and sauces are worth coming back for.

Don’t be freaked out that the small restaurant is attached to a c-store. It’s separated enough that you don’t notice. Also note that the number of tables inside is small.

Great little place for a quick hot homemade affordable Italian meal.

The food was AMAZING! The owners were so hospitable and attentive. I do not like Marinara AT ALL and my mom was insistent on getting the Bolognese, but it was actually delicious. Don’t even get me started on the flavor of all the bread/dough! It is a little drive from where I live in Houston, but I have been telling everyone about it. The prices are very affordable for the quality/quantity of food you get. Even though it is connected to a gas station your mind is going to be blown away after your first bite!

After seeing multiple posts recommending Venice, we tried it last night. Pizzas are the perfect size for the price, and the dough is really good.

Clean place, easy ordering system, good customer service. Would try Venice again, maybe pastas next time.

Let me say that I was VERY pleasantly surprised with the quality of what this place is putting out!! I ordered the Alex (pictured), a slice of tiramisu, and some homemade pasta to cook at the house. The pizza tasted even better than it looked, which is saying a lot. One of the best crusts I’ve ever had on a pizza. It was firm and had a perfect amount of snap to it, but the top layer was perfectly soft, a combo that’s very tough to nail down. Toppings were fresh, and they don’t hold back on loading it up. The tiramisu was honestly better than most any other tiramisu you would get a full service restaurant. It was perfectly rich, and had a good amount of mascarpone too. Again, you’re getting your moneys worth. I noticed that they also sell the authentic Italian balsamic and some other items that they use in the food itself, so they are apparently very transparent about their quality.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Inna, who was at the register, and she is the sweetest lady! She undoubtedly has a deep passion for her food, explaining she only uses Italian ingredients, including the semolina for her dough. She had a regular at a table that she hugged on the way out, while I waited for my food. This is the kind of place you want to see around forever. 10/10
