If you’re looking for a tasty burger in the south bay then look no further! This is a sports bar with an indoor/outdoor environment that has good service and is suited for family and friends. I’ve tried all of their burgers and none have failed me yet. They also serve chicken wings, pizza and veggie spring rolls and baked potatoes in case you’re in the mood for them. The fries and onion rings have a nice batter to them and their shakes are phenomenal (similar to Hodads shakes). If this is your first time there then I suggest you try their simplest burger then work your way down to the specialty ones. You won’t regret it. Money wise, you get what you pay for and then some as these burgers are pretty big and it’s not just a big bun you’re eating either. Go stuff your face here now, you won’t regret it!

I was getting my daughter a dessert next door and my plan was to go to carl’s junior afterwards. To get a double bacon, western cheeseburger, I decided to walk into slappies and look at their menu. I was greeted by a very friendly waitress, very cute also. She suggested a burger and fries. The have a BBQ bacon cheeseburger that was out of this world delicious. I will definitely come back and see a sports game there. The atmosphere had a good vibe and amazing staff. Stop in for a beer or burger. You will walk out with a smile. Great find.

The burgers are super, super delicious here. All the food was tasty really, but if you visit you have to try a burger.
The service was really good too, the waitress we had was super friendly and quick.
There is parking in the shopping center but it fills up easily. I’d also arrive before 6 for dinner – it’s a bar/grill, so by 6, it’s pretty packed.
Definitely recommend giving them a try.

Waitresses are always very attentive and the small sports bar vibe makes for a unique feel. Think of the small hole in the wall sports bar in a college town with that southern hospitality but in the middle of National City. The Slappy burger was really good. Overall if your looking for a sports bar to enjoy your games this one I would recommend

This is a good place to watch sports w many beer choices & a full bar. Their burgers are so good that i have been there two days in a row this week.
Pricey at $15 combo plate but my hack is to split a burger & fries w someone (preferably someone you came with). I tried the bacon burger & the Phily Cheese Steak (not served on a kaiser bun, served on same roll as the burger) as it is STACKED! Meat falling out of all sides. Good fries too.
