My wife and I went Saturday night. We sat out in the outdoor seating. Had the Country Fried Ribs and BBQ Egg Rolls for appetizers, both very good! I had the brisket, juicy, excellent flavor, mac and cheese was good too. My wife had the burger and fries, also tasty. We live up the street from this place and it is a good local spot!

Food was absolutely fantastic!!! Brisket and pulled pork on point, tender and perfectly smoked. The chicken wings out of this world, best wings I’ve ever had hands down! Tried a couple of the specialty cocktails and they were excellent, highly recommend the campfire fluffernutter. Overall great experience, amazing staff, service was excellent and the ambiance was everything and more!! Will be back for sure!!

The back patio setting was lovely ! The food was delicious and the water glasses were so cute ( Mason jars). I felt very comfy and would definitely come here again! The tacos and beans were . The food did take a little long to come out but it was worth it! The drinks were strong also lol

I had the pulled pork with slaw, Mac, and cornbread, the wife had brisket with collards, cream corn and cornbread.
Overall, very good. Pork was moist, great texture and flavor. We both liked the house BBQ sauce and she liked the Carolina Gold sauce. Brisket was tender, not too lean but, no gristle. Just how it should be served. Both plates were a lot of food. Slaw was sweet and Mac was a bit wet but I enjoyed both enough to finish each. Wife found the corn with a bit too much pepper. She slammed the collards – they were perfect. My only knock is on the cornbread. I love cornbread. This was good dense and the serving size was too small.
Decor was cool. Loved the bike wheel light fixtures and pressed tin ceiling. Obviously a neighborhood joint, heard many regulars.
COVID protocols were immaculate. Thank you.
Came back to increase my rating to 5. Brought our adult children here for mom’s birthday.
Hit a couple of the apps – the Hankadilla was very good, loved the chili sour cream. But, the BBQ Egg Rolls went so fast, I couldn’t even get a picture.

Ordered the brisket and chicken thighs. Two sides were Mac and cheese, collard greens and apple slaw. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! Would highly recommend this restaurant! Definitely will be ordering again.

Good vibe and friendly service. Wasn’t crazy about the brisket, came kinda cold and very fatty. They refired and comp’d which was really great, but the refire was still not very hot and had a lot of white fat and wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped. My family had the ribs which were good and the wings, which were also really good. Will try this place again as they continue to find their BBQ mojo.

Worst barbecue ever. I’m sure they mean well but whoever built their menu recipes needs to be taken out back and blindfolded. Portion size vs price per plate almost amounts to robbery. Runny and cold macaroni and cheese. Collard greens apparently mistaken for spinach. Paid nearly $30 and got a rib and two half ribs. Won’t ever eat here again.
