My family and I came to skillets due to its closeness to hotel and there were plenty of good reviews. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive and patient so no problems there. The environment is like other touristy junctions where it’s 50/50 a restaurant and gift shop. I ordered the special for the night, a prime rib steak (asked mid-rare cook) and a deviled crab cake. The crab cake was pretty fishy-tasting for a crab cake, making me think that actual crab or other substitutes may have been used. The steak was seasoned, but very gray.

Food was great! Both my dog and I enjoyed (loved having doggy menu!) However I was seated at a dirty table that still had previous customers cups on it. It didn’t get wiped down between. Then my waitress took awhile to come to the table. Once she came she seemed in a hurry and eager to go after every word I said. My food was brought quickly, however I was never given silverware. I had to wait 10+minutes after my food arrived for my waitress to come for me to tell her. Food was great, service needs some work.

We had a table of 10 plus our puppy. We were accommodated with ease. Outside seating was great. Whitney was our server. She was attentive and efficient. The food was amazing! Calamari and appetizer sampler was great. Overall excellent experience!

We visited Hilton Head for the weekend and stopped here for breakfast one morning. The place has a Cracker Barrel vibe which is cool and the dog friendly menu was great. Food was pretty average and a bit expensive.

Loved this little place right across from where we were staying. Just within walking distance. The price was very affordable, compared to other places in the area. I had breakfast with my son, he had the biscuits and gravy and I had a Belgian waffle with fruit and a side of bacon. The waitress wad nice and attentive. Totally recommend this place.

I was hesitant to go based on the 4.2-star rating. I was pleasantly surprised! The food and service were incredible. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and my fiancé ordered the Southern Benedict. Both were amazing. We plan to go again on this trip!

The food was very good as usual! The service was so bad! Our waiter only wanted to play on his phone. We watched him for 15 min until a waitress finally told him to wait on us. Then he never came back the entire time until we flagged him down to get our check. The girl from the kitchen had to bring us our food. After he saw us watching him, he hid in the corner. The sad part is that he only had 2 tables!
