Hidden gem, literally! This was our first time at this restaurant & we actually flew in from SoCal for a mini foodie trip. This spot was definitely in our bookmarks. The interior was so cute & clean. All of the staff / waiters were very friendly & helpful — a welcoming vibe needed for the early morning.
We shared 3 dishes. I cannot remember the exact names, but we had an avocado toast with crab, a tom yum omelette with prawns, and
French toast dish with a caramelized banana.
My personal favorite was the omelette for sure! Everything we had to eat were very good in general. We ordered some drinks too & they were amazing!
I would love to come back into town & try some more dishes from here. DEFINITELY 10000% would get the tom yum omelette again.
Posted what we had along with this review. Everything looked aesthetically tasty

What a neat place! The decor and food is great inside. There was one party that seemed to enjoy it so much they came back the next day! They were quite popular on a Sunday morning when the rest of the city was quiet. I ordered the Secret cocktail and the Voila French Toast. We also ordered the Emerald which I heard was good and a latte. The Emerald eggs benedict seemed to be poached well and the green sauce it came with was beautiful. While the food took some time, the Secret cocktail was quite a good sneaky cocktail to sip on. It was pretty sweet and mostly tasted of lychee, but I didn’t mind it. It was slightly one-noted but still good and beautiful overall. The Voila French Toast was really great. I didn’t know French Toast bread could be shaped like an oval, and it was so soft inside. The caramelized bananas were great with the candied walnuts if that is your thing. I personally didn’t enjoy the walnuts as much, but the textures are fun, and the cream of vanilla goes really well with the French toast as a drizzled topping or dip. I’d love to come back to try their other items!

I was late to my reservation due to a BART delay and they graciously moved my time for me. When I arrived, I had my bag and my backpack for my mini vacation. They didn’t treat me like an inconvenience at all. Some restaurants are very lacking in their customer service, and they would have given me subpar service. The waiters were attentive and the food was great, except for one small piece of egg shell. I have done that before while cooking. And I was coming in with 40 minutes to spare for their operational hours, so, they were probably rushed. I totally understand. I also understand that when I get eggshell in my food it is because I am not professionally trained. The atmosphere was very pleasant, so was the decor. The matcha latte and tiger stripe latte were both delicious, and every bite of the florentine eggs benedict, except that last bite, was delicious. I was kinda disappointed, but everything in life can’t be perfect. Solid 4 stars!
P.S. Be careful with the potatoes they’re lava inside. My mouth is burned. Let them sit for like 5 minutes plus before eating them. They may look OK to eat, but no, they’re literally lava.
I looked it up and restaurants are supposed to tell you the food is hot, especially if it isn’t visible. I came to San Francisco for a 3 day feast, with reservations at various restaurants around the city, and this 1st restaurant ruined it for me. It’s day 2 and I’m settling for anything on the menu that isn’t hot at my second reservation this morning. Kinda upset about it. I’ll have to visit again, but I will avoid Sisterita at all costs. Even if it were free, I don’t appreciate negligence.

Almost gave this place 5 stars. Seems to be pretty popular, stopped in without a reservation and there was quite a wait. It was about 11am. Service was fast, maybe too fast but I understand due to the line out the door. All 4 of our plates tasted great & were fresh. We decided to go back the next day and unfortunately we were disappointed. Stopped in earlier the next day around 820. Service was again fast, but this time our food was cold and not as fresh as the day before. The steak was chewy & flavorless & the French fries were oily. Kind of wish we didn’t return and kept the satisfaction from the first day

The place is charming, the atmosphere and the staff’s attention are wonderful. The cocktails and drinks are very well prepared and the food is exquisite. We spent a week in Chicago and went there for breakfast every day. The hostess is unique and attends to every detail. I recommend it 100%.

Came in on a Saturday without a reservation and got a table in about 30 min. It was well worth the wait. Everything on the menu looked good, but we ended up going with the classic Benedict and the country scramble. Both very good. The drink and cocktail menu was also very good. My favorite being “the secret”, a lychee cocktail. The interior is very cute and art deco style with a library wall. I will absolutely be coming back.

Checked out this spot for brunch on the Saturday during Super Bowl weekend. Obviously it was packed, but the hostess (Ruth) managed the waiting line of customers with a fun grace mixed with clear expertise. Friendly and helpful staff all around, and the atmosphere had a sophisticated vibe/attention to detail down to the golden hand dryers in the restroom.
But the food was the star of the show! We shared the Avocado toast/poached egg and chorizo & friends scrambled omelet. Everything was cooked to perfection with great flavor & hefty portion sizes to fuel our post-breakfast walk up the hill to Coit Tower. Highly recommend! Be prepared for close proximity seating and a little bit of a wait during peak hours, but it’s well worth it.

This breakfast and brunch spot was unbelievable! Service is excellent and the food was amazing. Lots of options and tons of different drinks. It looks like they serve sake infused drinks and not hard alcohol. Really cute spot! I got the French toast , eggs, and the spicy bacon was fantastic. Book a reservation!

Had a wonderful breakfast experience at Sisterita. The food was fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, the seating arrangements took away from the experience. Our party of two quickly became a party of four once another couple was sat next to us…the tables were too close together. We did have amazing service, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. The location is down a small alleyway, which can make it difficult to find if you’re not familiar with SF.

Delightful restaurant! Comfortable and quite beautiful. Good French toast and chicken sausage (go figure). My husband’s crab goulash (descriptive) was “interesting”. Not the best food in the world but solid.
