This restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside. My husband and I visited the restaurant approximately one week after it opened. When we got there it was crowded and there was a wait so we sat in the bar area. I could tell the restaurant is new because the menu was primarily chips, dip, and a variety of tacos. The tacos were delicious but they did not come with sides and they were very expensive for my taste. We paid approximately $13-15 for two small tacos, and the drinks were $15 and up. My husband wasn’t impressed while I would go back after they added additional items to the menu (I’m a foodie). The atmosphere is what drew me in, but I wanted more of a variety of food options on the menu. To give you an idea of cost, we spent over $100 for 4 tacos and three drinks. The drinks were unique and delicious. I would not bring small children here as the atmosphere catered primarily to adults.

While the name of the restaurant intrigued me, I found that the prices were quite high compared to the portion sizes. The small portions left me feeling unsatisfied, especially when ordering the tacos, as the tortillas were disappointingly wet and lacked the desired texture. Additionally, the beans and rice lacked flavor and could have benefited from a bit more salt.

My friend and I ordered chips and salsa, steak tacos, chili passion cocktail and the frozen When Doves Cry. Everything was delicious! We left full and satisfied.

Beautiful place! Service was good. We ordered the corn ribs, smokey guacamole, Baja shrimp tacos and crab flautas. The corn ribs and guac were really delicious. Baja shrimp tacos were under seasoned. The crab flautas were no good. Very one note for texture which was generally mushy. Crab was fishy tasting. Drinks were good. Very expensive meal. I expected more pork to be on the menu given the name ‍♀️

It’s a nice atmosphere with plenty of seating. Gives me a midtown Sacramento vibe. The food however… I’m not a fan of paying $7 per taco! They come on “handmade” tortillas but one of mine was soggy and the other was tough like it had been sitting out a while. Neither my wife’s food nor my food was hot. Most likely will not be giving it a second chance.

Walking in, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our waitress was very nice. I ordered No Mames, my wife ordered Ranchero. Both were just overpoweringly sour and couldn’t taste any other ingredients. I ordered Waygu Carne Asada Taco, and my wife CDMX al Pastor, and Salsa Flight. We got our tacos right away, like too fast, and obviously wasn’t made fresh because both of our meats were luke warm, and tortilla looked weird and texture/taste wasn’t great. The Gallo Pinto was horrible! Portion size for the price is a complete rip off, especially since the meat lacked flavor. We then both ordered Mariachi, which this was just ok, nothing great. We finally got the Chips and Salsa after having to ask about it, and this was horrible as well…again, everything here is masked by sourness. Salsa verde, sour! Chips, burnt and oily. Drinks and food average $15 each and none of it worth the price, portion, or taste. I realize this place just opened, but I don’t see myself coming back anytime soon.

Cute designed place. Good service with friendly people. Decent food, small portion. The Chipotle quesadilla and Crab Flauta are good. The CDMK Al Pastor tacos were too dried.

Overall if you want to try Pig Latin it’s aesthetically pleasing, great pics to post on the gram but set the bar real low and I think you might have a okay time!

Cute little restaurant! Plenty of seats, the outside seating area was beautiful, well lit. The Menu isn’t too big, not alot to choose from but we enjoyed the food we got. I wouldn’t mind coming back on a warmer night lol
