Stopped there for the Haddock lunch special while I waited for my number to be called at DriveTest next door. The fish was surprisingly light and the batter very pleasant to eat. It was moist and the fries were cooked perfectly. The TarTar sauce and coleslaw were just yummy. I really enjoyed my meal. The lady who served me was also very easy to deal with and polite. I listened to her talk to some of the other guests there and the way that she handled them was gentle and welcoming. I will definitely be eating there again. Great fish on a Friday.

The best fish and chips I’ve had in Canada. And, it was takeout. Very polite, caring and efficient service, quiet atmosphere. Excellently packaged to keep hot and crispy fish and chips. Enough fish but too many chips for me. An option for half and half chips & coleslaw/salad would be really nice. Had Haddock but next time will order the Halibut! Highly recommended place, if you like the real thing. Good value for money.

I have been going here for years. The staff is truly delightful and you won’t find nicer folks anywhere. I recognize that nothing is perfect and people who have a bad experience are more inclined to post a review to complain, but honestly this is the best fish I have had. Fries are fine too. I get the standard haddock and fries and it is awesome. So give it a go. It is really good and you will not regret it. But stick with the seafood. That’s what it is known for and that is what you should go for (thought I am told breakfast is good, though I have never been).

Seated immediately and staff were hospitable and checked on us multiple times. Food came out within minutes of ordering and was a good size for the price you pay. I prefer extra crispy fish and it was a bit too soft for me, but it was still good overall.

Our new favorite fish & chips place. Food is fantastic, batter is light and crispy, not greasy. Fries are well cooked, they don’t go mushy, even with gravy and ketchup. They have milkshakes and Coke floats, and hot chocolate with whipped cream! Need I say more?

We stopped here for lunch on our way back to Hamilton from the airport, and it was fantastic. My friends had the halibut and chips (which looked great), and I had the Banquet Burger which was really delicious. Service was excellent, and we had a nice quiet booth near the kitchen to enjoy our lunch. We will be back! Thank you.

Had lunch with a friend here. We both had halibut and chips. It was very good fish! Fresh and tasty. You can tell they have clean oil in the fryer. The waitress was lovely and didn’t rush us at all. (We were catching up)

We were in the area for IKEA and craving some fish and chips so we decided to try this place out. The server/host was very friendly and welcoming. The dining area was spotless and the interior ambiance and decor was spot-on with the seafood theme. We tried their famous Halibut and chips – the halibut was flaky, crispy and delicious! Definitely a must try! They also had a special on the Haddock so we tried that too with onion rings, also a winner. Among some of the best fish and chips we’ve had.
Also tried some garlic bread with cheese and battered mushrooms for apps. Everything tasted great and the service was fast and friendly! Will definitely come back when in the area again.

Cute fish and chips spot. Courtney was a great server, the perfect level of attentive while I brushed up waiting for my drivers test. My fish was fresh, batter was perfectly golden as if they just put new oil in the fryer. Not dark at all, I hate when it’s like that other places so I wanted to mention it. I didn’t even think to take a picture I was so excited to eat it. The haddock special is a good honest price at $13.99 for fish, chips and coleslaw. Honest to goodness down to earth exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
