First time visiting that the owner wasn’t present. Met 3 new employees. The pizza was disappointing. It was a sausage and mushroom. There were so many mushrooms (moisture-laden) that the pizza did not cook properly. It was not crisp, nor could I taste the sausage. This could be a simple training issue. More is not always better. Last night left a bad taste in my mouth. Hope it will pass and I’ll try again some day.

My husband picked up food on his way home from work. Super excited to have sir pizza again. Had to wait almost a hour for our pizza. Which was extremely over cooked and cold… confusing. So when he got home I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner. He told me I could bring it back to remake or to get a refund. Nothing he would do otherwise. I told him I could email him pictures but that wasn’t going to work, he would not do a “blind refund” because he didn’t know it was their pizza and needed to be sure. I told him we are 20 min away so that’s 40 min round trip for a order I didn’t mess up. $73 worth of food… mind you $5 of that is boxes they charge you for… are you supposed to bring your own Togo box??? We obviously ate some of our food since we have small children and everyone was hungry but here are pictures for clarity. Upsetting and honestly felt the owner was rude and did not “resolve” a issue that was the restaurants fault to begin with. I shouldn’t have to bring the pizza back for a quality check. Clear to say we will not be back.

The only thing I didn’t like about the place is not being able to use my father’s veterans card that was given to me by my father. He fought for this country while I was being raised without him! Yes they give military discounts, but not to immediate family in which it counts! I’ve only been there once and my order was over $50. I’d have graciously continued to spend my money there if I wasn’t made to feel like a bum begging to use an expired coupon when I left. Now I go the extra distance to The Hermitage location.

Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. The pizza came out hot and just full of ingredients, the sauce was delicious and well balanced. The Dow was very good and it held up the pizza ingredients when you picked up a slice of pizza. Sir pizza has one of the best pizzas anywhere in the country hands-down. One of my top 10 pizzas in the Country. With easy access to I 65 north or south, if you’re traveling through town and want to just sit out the Nashville rush-hour traffic. Stop in take a break order some really good pizza and enjoy.
