Heading back to the Midwest after a road trip through the PNW, down the West Coast, and back through the Wild West … I couldn’t wait for a coffee shop to open!! As the sun rose, I googled coffee shops on my route. Per my usual, I picked the name I liked the best to venture to. I was delighted that not only was I able to obtain my much anticipated Large Hot Honey Latte with 4 shots of espresso and almond milk, I stumbled upon the home cooked, as good as your grandma makes it, deliciousness of the Sunrise Bagel! The service was beyond wonderful as well! The best food, service, and coffee of my entire trip ( trust me, I drank plenty of lattes)! Next time I’m heading through, I’ll be sure to visit. Do yourself a favor and do the same.

Popular little spot! Nice lady came out and grabbed my order while sitting in the drive thru line and by the time I got to the window the order was ready. Very reasonable prices and very good food! Will definitely be back.

Excellent grilled chicken salad with lots of delicious bacon cooked just right! The wide selection of teas is worth the trip, too. Conveniently located just off I-70 makes this a healthy fast food option. Don’t miss the lattes!

Sips has quickly become my favorite local places. The service is friendly and quick, the candy bar frappes are ‘chefs kiss’ and you can’t get a better local quick lunch than their sandwiches, wraps, and potato salad. A large frappe is about 5$, sandwiches are about 5$, so I usually spend about 10$ plus a tip when I go there. The only thing I don’t love is that they close at 2 pm so I can’t get supper there too ☺️

I was in town and this was the first time being In Abilene and this coffe shop, she asked what I wanted finally decided on a flavor because they have so many (WAY BETTER THAN STARBUCKS) THIS IS THE BEST LATTE I HAVE EVER HAD!! And I was amazed at how kind she was and she even made the coffee on the house! True small business hospitality that you do not find any more !!
