This place is awesome! Its a hidden gem for sure. The people who run it are so friendly and willing to help. The food is amazing. On Tempo Saturdays (2nd Saturday of the month) they do a buffet that’s out of this world. They also go to the market on Thursday nights! You gotta try them!

Some of the most amazing, and authentic Jamaican food I’ve had the pleasure to eat! The meat is so tender and flavorful. It falls right off the bone. As a Jamaican living in the North State, I was beyond excited when my friend told me there’s a Jamaican restaurant in Chico. We were both missing home (Ja) and decided to drive the 1.5hrs to this restaurant just to get a taste of home. I had the brown stewed fish which was actually salmon fillet. I was very disappointed that I drove so far just to be served salmon. If you are a Jamaican expecting to be served real Jamaican stewed fish, forget it. The food taste good and probably works for people who doesn’t know better

Sipho’s was off the beaten path, but was a very friendly restaurant with much more seating available than initially evident from the outside. The food was delicious with many vegetarian options, and the staff were friendly. The food was all very freshly made.
