The Baseline
The Baseline: For a salad place, the salads must have fresh, quality ingredients, it must efficiently make my salad, additional offerings must be available, and there should be something that makes me want to eat salad over other options.
Food: The salad ingredients were fresh and varied. I went with the Chinatown salad which was pretty good and tasty. The portion size for the salad was very substantial and worth the price. I also got the Mexican Meatball soup which felt better on the rainy day I was eating it. The soup was very flavorful with enough spice. I also tried the humus and pita chips which was a fairly good humus. Overall the items were above baseline for quality and quantity, but I have had tastier salads.
Service: Great service and I used the mobile app to order. This made it very efficient and the staff were very friendly.
Ambiance: The inside of the restaurant was clean and well maintained. It felt comfortable even though I was in a grab and go mode.

This place is absolutely amazing! I’m not a vegetarian, but a few greens never hurt from time to time. The salad options are great, but the nunber of protiens is even bettter. I like a salad with a lot of meat and they delivered. Very clean inside. Jalen provided phenomial service and Camren was right there to ice the cake with great banter and endless laughs. Even if you aren’t normally a salad fan, I would give this place a try. There are enough choices to surprise even the pickiest eaters. Overall great experience.

I stopped in one late evening. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the gentleman had someone come out to take my order right away as he was working on another order. Super friendly and fast service. I had never been in and was shocked to see the reasonable prices. Once I got home I was even more shocked with the big portion, fresh, flavorful and premium ingredients. No one can beat your quality and portions for your price. As I waited for my food to be prepped, I read your mission statement/ story on the wall and I strongly agree with you. You absolutely delivered what you standby. Thank you. Stopped by the Simply Salad in Hawthorne today and didn’t even realize it was their first day open. I had a feeling they would be opening up soon, so I took a chance and stopped by, so glad I did! It was great to see Bruce, the founder, and I remembered him from one of my visits at the Torrance location that I usually go to. I’ve also been to the Gardena spot, but the Hawthorne location is perfect since it’s closer to my house.
They hooked me up with a complimentary meal for being a loyal customer, which was such a nice touch. My fiancé loves this place and is going to be excited that they’re finally open in Hawthorne. If you’re looking for a healthy and delicious alternative, definitely check this place out. Highly recommend!

First salad here and it was fire! I tried the Thai it Up! with the Thai peanut dressing and sweet sriracha and it did not disappoint. I’ll be back for sure. I signed up for the app and was able to redeem my points right away!
