A nice new restaurant in the area, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good sized menu with lots of breakfast options, paninis, wraps, burgers, homemade soup and dinner entrees. Our server was very friendly and helpful. She quickly took back our tasty but cold soup (a problem with their steam table was the culprit). Both of our lunches were very good. Their prices seem on par with the other restaurants in the area. They take cash and credit cards.

We came back to Jimmy’s because our FIRST time about 6 weeks ago was fantastic! The food WAS great. My husband and I ordered the country fried steak. The outside of mine was soaked in grease and literally just fell apart, the inside was so tough it was hard to even eat. You guys also changed your sausage gravy – when you open a restaurant it’s best to be consistent!! My one daughter ordered the stuffed French toast- she couldn’t even eat it because what looked to be canned strawberries had gone bad! My son got spaghetti- it came out with angel hair pasta! Let’s get to the waitress- she was clueless- we had to ask for menus!!! Our breakfast came with toast and eggs – she never asked what kind of toast or how we wanted our eggs- this is common sense when you’re running a diner that serves breakfast. My sons meal came with a meatball or sausage- we had to call her back to the table to tell her that! When the meal finally got the table, my son was halfway through his spaghetti (angel hair) when his salad and garlic bread made it to the table! Probably one of the worst experiences at a location ever!

Response to the owner as I’m not able to reply. I am not one to bother staff when they’re busy. I’m not venting, I’m leaving a review like many others do. That’s the point of a review- to express personal experiences about businesses. I’m not the only one who wrote this type of review.

Our first experience at Jimmy’s was disappointing. Toast was not done, potatoes need to be crispier, ham was more like lunch meat I prefer a ham steak. Server was nice, prices ok.

Ordered sausage biscuits and gravy and got canned gravy on hamburger buns. Eggs had egg shells in it. My mom got mushroom and cheese omelet which had a hard piece of something in it and some sort of meat in it, good thing she is not a vegetarian. Was charged for 2 coffee’s when we only ordered one and someone at our table ordered a 222 special and was given a 333 which we were also charged for. It was an all around mess.

Breakfast on a Sunday: Waitress was nice, but everyone seemed untrained and unorganized. The sausage gravy came out ice cold. Menu said what we ordered came with toast but didn’t get any. We asked the waitress, she said she would bring some out but the toast never came. All the food was mediocre at best, nothing special. 4% extra charge for using card instead of cash, FYI. Probably won’t be back considering there’s plenty of better places in town to have breakfast. Lunch menu was impressive though, might have to give them a chance and come in for lunch someday.

Loved my experience in this new diner! I was sceptical with the negative reviews, but everything was spot on! The service and hometown feel spot on. I was seated with drinks immediately and my food arrived within 5-10 mins of ordering. Everything was fresh and piping hot! As someone who has an hour lunch break it’s hard to go to a sit down restaurant. I was in and out casually within 30 minutes!

Staffing issues will truly sink a new business. 3 of us went for lunch 4/30. We loved the chili, burger, French fries, Philly steak. Eggs were good. Wanted homefries but was told they ran out. Ordered hash browns instead, they looked like mush… even the waitress agreed. Toast brought out after eggs were eaten
