Before departing from the casino, we stopped here to get some drinks and delightful snacks. I had an iced coffee and for snacks, we had assorted flavors/various macaroons.
There was a bit of a line, but the staff here works quickly and efficiently. It was worth the wait. Everything was very good.
Shift Bake Shop is located on the second floor. There are elevators as well as an escalator to get up there.
There are a few small tables in the common area, but these are shared among other area businesses, so it’s hit or miss as to whether you will be able to sit down and enjoy what you get from here. We got our stuff to go on the way out, which so it worked out well for us.

The only reason I gave this a 4 was only just cause the sweets were really sweet. In my peanut butter cookie sandwich the cream was REALLY sweet the cookies themselves were delicious they were soft too ! I did enjoy it still, I honestly would have killed to have those with ice cream in the middle! My husband did enjoy the key Lime cheesecake & the sugar cookie ! I really went there cause I wanted to try their pistachio croissant but they didn’t have it right now ( it’s seasonal) but I will definitely go back to try it when it’s in stock! They definitely have overwhelming options but it’s just you can’t go and get ONE thing ! Definitely prepare for a box at least to go!

This bakery is so cute and great!! The person who took my order was nice and she was really friendly. Oh! And, the cheesecakes and cake were delicious and super yummy! I really enjoyed them. They were really filling too, so, they’re also perfect to share with family and others. I also love the vibes of the place and brand.

Sweet baby macaroon – the pastries are amazing. Beautiful, perfect croissants now inside the casino? Let me paint this picture for you: you wake up – your hungry – you want coffee. Steps away is not only good coffee, but every freaking breakfast pastry you could want displayed to perfection carpeted in an air of buttery-aroma. You pick 1, 2, maybe 10 and then? Bliss.
I tried 4 different things – croissant, sticky bun, guava cheese Danish, and a scone. Then, i did a slow clap – not too much, think of a golf clap, but this clap was slow and celebratory. Why a clap in the center of a busy casino? Because each item was that AMAZING.
Coffee was excellent, and to top it all off, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. Large coffee was $3.75.

I decided to try them again. Everything I had was absolutely delicious! Chocolate peppermint cookie was so tasty! Loved the rosewater flavored macaron. Service was friendly, quick and efficient.

I was super excited to try this bakery! However, my experience was disappointing. I ordered almond croissant, chocolate chip cookie, Thai salad, 6 macarons, and iced chai.
Firstly, almond croissant was not delicious. Whipped cream sandwiched in the middle was flavored with almond essence, and it tasted bad. I wonder who came up with the recipe?
Chocolate chip was fine, but way too underbaked. Couldn’t even hold it without it crumbling apart.
Thai salad was.. unique in a bad way. Napa cabbage?? Seriously? And red ginger as a main ingredient?? And those peanuts were soggy and disgusting. Also, they gave me way little dressing.
4 out of the 6 macarons I bought, the shells were hollow. And, underbaked. I was in Tokyo last month and enjoyed Pierre Hermé macarons there, so receiving underbaked, no foot, hollow macarons were upsetting.
Iced chai was yummy. I liked that the girl asked me if she could make the drink with whole milk. I originally ordered iced matcha, but they were out.
Service was good though!

I travel a lot and I’m a big foodie. I purchased the lemon tart it was too sour but the worse part there was a weird after taste. Not sure if it was too old or something was added to it for it to last long. The guava cheese danish was dry once you get to the middle the flavor was ok. My favorite was the raspberry cheesecake. The flavor was wonderful and light. The staff was wonderful and speedy. The area was very clean. The baked goods just need a lil more work.

She also attended us 100% and made the experience here at Sift Mohegan memorable and friendly. I recommend her to service anyone at the Sift Bar and Bakery. Chocolates delicious. I was met with hospitable, kind & friendly service by Kelly, she so patiently answered all my questions and even went to the back to look for a favorite item of mine that I didn’t see in the case. I’m so happy Sift opened at Mohegan, as I feel the Casino needed a high quality (yet affordable) grab and go option for sandwiches, coffee and pastries. 10/10 highly recommend.
