This authentic Thai restaurant near Hollywood serves truly delicious dishes at reasonable prices. The friendly staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I highly recommend dish number 27, the Shrimp Paste. It was exceptionally flavorful, with the perfect blend of spices, though be prepared for some serious heat! A heads-up: they only accept cash, so make sure to come prepared. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining experience that captures the true essence of Thai cuisine.

Very authentic atmosphere, no frills, but friendly. I came here twice this week for breakfast.

Their breakfast rice soup with fish is exactly what I needed when I was feeling a little under the weather and had a sore throat… I actually keep thinking about it, so sore throat or not, this is a great restaurant with great .

Lots of local Thai in there so you know it’s legit.

This is one of my favorite hole in the wall in Thaitown.
My one go to dish is the noodle with crab meat.
I also tend to come here for breakfast as well. The rice porridge and fried donut is pretty good. $9 for pork porridge and $1.50 for the (2) Chinese donuts with condensed milk.

Prices seem to have gone up over the years. It is still the local favorite I remember. The hainan rice was less than $10 for the longest time, now it is $14.

Relaxed, low-key, neighborhood Thai restaurant known for traditional breakfast and opening early (probably the only one around here that opens at 6am.)

Drop in for some congee for a classic comfort Thai breakfast. If you come early enough you’ll be lucky to grab some ปาท่องโก๋ (fried donuts) to have with condensed milk, homemade warm soy milk, or just as a yummy side for your congee.

Their other dishes also tend towards breakfast/lunch foods and are just as authentic and simple. The folks are also always so welcoming and friendly. This is simply the spot for nice relaxed comfort Thai food!

One of our favorite Hollywood restaurants!! A hidden gem not to miss. Authentic thai cuisine at very reasonable prices.

Have eaten for a couple decades in Thai Town but only went to Siam Sunset a few years ago. This was the first place I’ve ever eaten pad kra pao & it has become my favorite Thai dish! And Siam easily makes it the best!

Only knock is there’s no on site parking, but street parking is usually not too tough depending on the day. Still it’s worth the walk.

Would give it six stars if it were possible.

Went here for Thai style breakfast and had Hainan chicken w garlic rice; porridge w chicken; fried mussels; ginger juice w tofu and mini fried donuts. Everything was delicious and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again. We didn’t get to try the Chinese donuts w condensed milk because they were all out by 11:30a on a weekday.

Note: cash only

Most authentic Thai food ever.

The Tom yum, congee, and soy milk were so good.

Service could use some work though.
