Shots on the River is a full service restaurant/bar offering bar seating, dinning room seating, banquet rooms for private events, catering, and a large patio with an outside bar. Numerous TV’s throughout the restaurant so that you can watch your favorite sports teams and live music on the weekends. There is a pool table, golden tee machines, Michigan Lottery (including pull tabs, keno, and other games), and a pinball machine for customer entertainment. Daily lunch specials, a large kids menu, and specials offered during Happy Hour and late night Happy Hour are a few of the reasons that you should stop in to this location when in the Belmont area and is a great place to grab some food and drinks before or after a White Caps game.

This is one of our absolute favorite watering holes! The bartenders, Emily, Erica. Ainsley and Ely are always friendly and on point with the service, and they go out of their way to make us feel like family. The waitstaff is just as awesome, and the managers always makes it a point to say hi. The crowd is a good mix of all ages and walks of life, and their food is pretty dang good, too. They have a huge selection that includes not only typical bar fare, burgers and sandwiches, but a decent selection of entrees as well. Their pizza is a family favorite. I highly recommend trying this place out if you’ve never been there!

Shots on the River is a great place to hang out with your friends, catch some live music on the weekend, and have some good food. There is a small front area with a pool table and some arcade games, and they also have corn hole. I saw two big private party rooms so it’s good for groups. The Electric Flower Co. band was playing when we went and it was a blast!

I’ve been coming here for a while, and I have to give a special shout-out to Ely. They’ve been with the restaurant for about six years, and it absolutely shows in the service. Whether they’re serving, bartending, or managing banquet events, they’re consistently amazing—professional, friendly, and always on top of everything. The restaurant is lucky to have someone like them. Highly recommend!

Service was fantastic but we were there on a Wednesday so it wasn’t super busy. I will ALWAYS order the battered mushrooms because they are amazing and never disappoint. Nice place with clean restrooms and lots of seating. The only downside was the cook over cooked the steak. Medium well instead of medium rare. Barely any red at all inside.

1st here. Was a decent place. Staff that i conversed with was friendly. They had a band that was setting up to start playing at 9pm. The food we had was decent. My delux sub i thought would be bigger and it came with no sauce..i asked for pizza sauce and my server brought me some..i did upgrade for onion rings and they brought 5 out.. they were a little crispy but still greesy.. for a quick new spot to try was not too bad.. other people with me felt same kind of experience with their food order.. i would try something else again..

One of the main reasons I go to Shots on the River it’s because I love the two bartenders Ainsley and Emily! Whenever I walk in there and sit at the bar, I don’t have to say a word and usually within a minute or two I have my Long Island Iced Tea sitting in front of me! Shot’s to me on the weekend is kind of like my home away from home! I love the atmosphere, I love the people, and I love the music.
