We popped into the @ljshoreshotel for an #impromptu #boozy #brunch. The atmosphere was great, as it is right on the #beach and they had @timmyshenanigans giving all the beach #vibes. The #drinks were great and came out quickly. While the #food was #tasty, it took 30 minutes for even the #bananabread to come out. Definitely something was amiss in the kitchen! While they offered to bring us something to make up for the delay, we had already ordered everything we wanted.

Limited breakfast menu but the chilaquiles was good with crispy tortillas. We went on a Monday morning so it was nice and quiet inside the bar dining area. There’s a great view of L Jolla Shores too.

We walked down from the Birch Aquarium in November in hopes of finding dinner with a view on the spur of the moment, and we had a wonderful evening here. Great cocktails, perfect location on the beach and surprisingly great food. I had the best poke bowl ever and my husband really enjoyed the salad.
