We had an amazing experience at Shoreline Café located at the Grande Shores while hosting our “Framily” Christmas party! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious! The salmon bites on the happy hour menu were next level delicious!
The service was excellent, and the entire team made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was wonderful, and it was great to see other hotel guests enjoying the vibe during our party as well.
A big thank you to everyone who helped, including Mark, Jennifer, Vanessa, Breanne & Manny for making the night run so smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Shoreline Café for dining or special events. We look forward to coming back!

Wouldn’t recommend booking their cafe events. They sold $25 tickets for a Paint n’ Wine Sip event, then CHANGED the event to two days before to hot chocolate bomb making AFTER the refund deadline. No refunds when asked. Then after I asked they insisted that paint event was the week before, but the tickets have the date and event on them! They even changed their old facebook posts to make it look like they advertised and sold tickets for their hot chocolate event! There was one half glass of wine, no desserts, and no painting as advertised and stated on the ticket. No one should pay $25 to make a crappy hot chocolate bomb when they thought paid for a canvas and guided painting. Such a disappointment.

Thanksgiving 2025… Oh boy. What a disappointment. Came here 2023 for Thanksgiving and had a meal comparable to my own mother’s Thanksgiving. Deviled eggs, dressing with bits in it, white turkey breast so juicy and tender and flavorful, sweet potato souffle like my gradaddys favorite, southern baked mac and cheese, sweet tea. This year, different “chef” and recipes? … Dressing tasted like stove top, mashed potatoes tasted a little off, macaroni and cheese was gooey?? sweet potatoes were awful, green bean casserole was good, turkey had a lot of dark in it???? Ham was good. The pumpkin pie and pecan pie were top notch, but for over $70 for a couple, I am extremely disappointed… I ate a roll, ham, and pumpkin pie….. everyone was so nice, and not their fault having to work on the holiday so I didn’t complain to them, but, we won’t be back for Thanksgiving.

Service was excellent food was a 0ne star. We ordered a fish platter with shrimp and fries. Tasted old and frozen. Vandecamps would have been better. Did not return food paid bill and tipped well. Not our servers fault.

Beautifully decorated for the holidays, our party of 3 were promptly greeted with menus. The portions were good for our appetites, and my vegetarian omelet was superb. We were very pleased with our services and highly recommend to visitors.

I stayed at the Grand Shores Hotel during the first week of April and had breakfast included in my hotel package through Shoreline Café. I chose this option so I wouldn’t have to stress about meals in the morning—but honestly, I regret it.
The breakfast was supposed to be buffet-style, but from Monday to Wednesday, the options were extremely limited and inconsistent. Some days juice was included, other days it wasn’t—and no one could clearly explain why. On top of that, they attempted to add gratuity *each day* to a buffet meal that was already prepaid. What really upset me was that on the last day, they suddenly posted a sign stating they were now adding 18% gratuity to each meal. That felt unfair and unprofessional, especially after a week of unclear communication.
The only day the breakfast actually felt worth it was Friday—the food was fresh, and the options were better. But if I ever stay at this hotel again, I definitely won’t be purchasing the breakfast add-on. For the price, I could have made something better myself.

3.75 stars? The food and service were ‘ ok’. Nothing really bad , service just lacking ‘ personality’ and warmth.
It was 8:30 or so and only one other table when we arrived. Maybe it’s a language barrier, but the servers weren’t at all what were used to in breakfast places we’ve been too. Lacked enthusiasm and the ‘energy ‘ in the restaurant was low. Loud TV showing a game show didn’t help. It got a little busier when we were finishing and we’d likely give it another try , but there are nearby options.

The place is disgusting! It stunk, it was dirty and the service was beyond awful. The server mumbled when he spoke, which made it impossible to understand him. He wasn’t too happy when we told him we didn’t want the breakfast buffet (that he was trying to push on us)and would like to look at a menu. It took him 15 minutes to take our order. He did bring out my coffee, which I took one sip of and could not drink anymore. It tasted like pond water! After waiting another 15 minutes for our breakfast to come out, I started having more and more bad feelings about eating the food here. At that point we were tired of waiting and tired of being ignored by the rude server, so we decided to leave. We will never go there again. Don’t eat here!!
