We eat the breakfast buffet every once in a while. But today the food was not hot. Some of the food was great like the grits and eggs. The ham was good. The bacon was ok. The French toast stick was hard. Bottom of muffin was hard. Service was excellent. Great customer service.

I have not been to a Shoneys in years, but this was a great reminder of what I missed as a kid. The waitress was wonderful and service was perfect. The all you can buffet was delicious. Friday and Saturday was seafood and it was great.

The Shoney’s breakfast buffet was more than adequate and satisfied my expectations.
The staff was friends, professional, and transparent.
Like everything else, the price for the buffet has gone up. It was over $20 per person for the buffet with a milk at the Morgan City location.
That said, I wasn’t upset by this realization given the quality of service and food at the buffet.

Been anxious to come here and I was not disappointed. Food was really yummy and the waitresses and cooks were amazing. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming and very attentive! Felt very homey and welcoming. I can’t wait to come back soon!

This is the worst restaurant in Louisiana, at least in the city of Morgan City.I’ve had better out of a powdered substance they’ve made eggs in county jail.n I couldn’t eat half the eggs that were given to me and a 1/2 sausage link without running to the bathroom and throwing it all up in their bathroom and I didn’t make it in the bowl or the sink, but I was raised better, so I cleaned it all up. But that’s the worst food i’ve eaten inside the borders of louisiana , by far do not go to this restaurant. It’s a national chain and everything you get there is what you’re getting anywhere else. All you can taste was the butter that they put on the skillet and way too much so they didn’t have to clean it properly at the end of the shift.n The bacon was overcooked. And I gave up all my meal.nAnd I know the servers know this because I would give them a two star , but they’re not earning one star on atmosphere’s service for food from me

French toasters were still on we got there for breakfast biscuits was hard french toast was hard whoever was putting the food out was doing it was letting the food stay out wouldn’t keeping the food and all fresh just I guess you know doing too much of the food was you know like a lot of the breakfast stuff was kind of old was a fresh home The sweet tea wasn’t really sweet tea wouldn’t really impressed by that phone but for the most part we were better off pretty much self serving ourself and our and I said everything was all right though for the most part just the food was like a lot of the perfect stuff was still old French toast biscuits and stuff okay yeah and there was it was a breakfast for three.

The breakfast food is best 1 hour after they open. The food is cold when they open cuz it was prepared ahead of time and the heaters are not warmed up yet but the breakfast was actually really good. The French toast sticks are so good mmmmm.
