Well. Lol. This wasn’t at all a good visit to one of my favorite restaurants. We stopped in for the breakfast buffet. Everything looked good at first. They were just finishing up with the mad morning rush. The buffet was well stocked and the service was quick to seat us. I started with biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs. The biscuits were not so good. The frozen kind. Bacon was awesome. The scrambled eggs were done. I went for a second plate and as I was loading my plate I hear someone asking for the manager. I watch as the other customer raised his fork of scrambled eggs and a large glob of hair raises with it. I sat my plate down. Tipped the waitress. Paid my bill and got out of there before I got sick. I definitely do not recommend this place. God bless.

Shrimp(butterfly fried) on buffet was cold. Salmon and baked fish were dry and tough. Fried okra wasn’t cooked enough. This was at 5:10 p.m and on Valentine’s Day.. salad was good. Rolls were yummy. Service was fine. Kiosk was down so couldn’t get my $3 off like said in text. Nobody at checkout. Had to wait. This Shoneys used to be top notch. May be worst ever. Customers at next table was offered free dessert with buffet for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t even get asked if I wanted dessert. Won’t be back for a while.

Seafood night, I am not impressed. Popcorn shrimp and hushpuppies were so hard you couldn’t eat them. The fork wouldn’t even go through them. The best part of the meal was the sweet tea and regular fried shrimp. The waitress was nice. I wish everything had been better.

The salad bar was good. They have raised there prices. No one was in the restaurant at it was near lunch. The waitress was not friendly. They need too change something in there . Can’t put my finger on it. Maybe come back with the bobs big boy burger. Have a flash from the past. When it was a soda jerk place. I use too love Sydney’s not so much any more

The staff are, by far, the best part of this location. They treat their customers very well and offer extremely prompt and friendly service.

The food is okay. I generally go for the breakfast buffet. It does feel like there’s been a slight decline in quality over the years, but still decent food for the price.

The building – needs a face lift. It’s been a few years since it’s had an update and feels a little worn. It’s clean, don’t get me wrong – it just feels like it could use some touching up in places.

First off the waitress was great. Here’s the issue the steaks we all ordered rib eyes 2 well done and one medium well. They bring them out the 2 well done steaks were rare . Sent back to be cooked only to be brought back the steaks 4 min later … nope still bloody. The waitress apologizes and offers to take back into kitchen at this point no as we here the manager get loud and start saying well a well done steak should be on there 8 min 4 on each side. Um no mam that’s inaccurate. I get to the front to pay for the lady to ask how was your meal I tell her she says I’m sorry your food was bad our cook quit and we have a waitress cooking. Excuse me a waitress cooking that is not properly trained. And then the manager was outside puffing her cigarette at the front door and walks back in and says well we are short handed no unacceptable will not be back and will be contacting corporate on them

Enjoyed a wonderful Christmas brunch with friends we had not seen in years. They accommodated 12 of us with minimal wait time. Most of us enjoyed the buffet, which was filled with delicious foods. Staff kept the food trays full, and did not appear to slow down for even a minute.

Very friendly good food on buffet breakfast bar. Very appealing. Friendly staff and clean food bar. Staff dressed clean and neat. As far as the restaurant itself only issue was the building could use a thorough cleaning including the restrooms. Other than that I and husband were satisfied.

The buffet was good. Everything looked fresh. Our waiter was really friendly. I think his name was Billy. He came several times to see if we needed anything and offered fresh eggs and pancakes.
