Bagels are amazing and fresh. Let me say up front, I LOVE cream cheese. I ordered my bagel with veggie cream cheese which was exceptionally good. My only complaint or more like comment would be that there was wayy too much cream cheese on the bagel. I scraped enough off to eat the bagel (which still left a VERY generous portion) and the waste was literally almost as big as my fist. I’m all for serous portions, but they could save a LOT of cream cheese and maybe not charge as much. A bagel w/cream cheese was over $5. Thats pretty steep. Again, I do not want to take away from the quality of the bagel OR the cream cheese. There was just too much waste.

We came at 10:30. They made our sandwiches really quick. I was bummed that they had no muffins, cheese danishes, cinnamon rolls, or pastries. I asked for my bagel to be toasted, but it wasn’t. There were also a lot of seeds on my bagel which sucked. I ordered an Asiago bagel, I don’t like having seeds stuck in my teeth. They are a little pricey. There was A LOT of cream cheese which I really appreciated, which is why they get four starts and not three. I’d definitely be willing to try them again.

Sooo much cream cheese. And it was very cold.
My toasted bagel, was cold. And there is half a container of cream cheese left on the bread. 9$ for a bagel and a Yoo-hoo.

This location is the best compared to the beach location. They always make sure you get the right amount of cream cheese every single time! if you a heavy cream cheese lover , they will do you right. The other location doesn’t give as much cream cheese as this location does. the customer service is always the best, the dining area is small so it’s a tight space when crowded but still everything about this shop is outstanding.

That was not a good experience. We came for the second time, thinking maybe they had an off day the first time. Were we wrong! The service was really disappointing. It was hard to complete the order with the lady at the front, and after all the frustration, they were out “out of bagel flavors.” I understand. Getting paid, then the bagels that you asked for magically appear out of thin air.

Best bagel place in Jax. If you want to treat yo self id definitely recommend giving Bagels R US a try. They have homemade cream cheese with different flavors too and give you LOTS of it on your bagel!
