My husband and I absolutely love this hibachi place! Every time we come here, the food is consistently amazing and cooked to perfection. The chefs are entertaining, the portions are generous, and the flavors never disappoint. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding everyone is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel welcome. We always leave happy and full. Highly recommend!

During our first visit, we attended a friend’s birthday dinner. We had reservations for 12 people and waited in the bar, enjoying cocktails until everyone arrived. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. I ordered one of the specialty cocktails served in a Buddha-shaped glass. The drink was good, but I wish there had been more. Now I have a unique Buddha glass!
The performance by our chef was a perfect blend of entertainment and culinary skill. The classic tossing of food into our mouths never gets old! The atmosphere has a distinctly Asian-inspired vibe. Although the prices are a bit high, you receive a substantial amount of food along with the show. I highly recommend visiting to enjoy both the performance and a wonderful meal.

I haven’t been to this restaurant in over 20 plus years. We had a wonderful time, I had a filet with a lg lobster tail, my friend had sirloin and chicken along with fried rice and vegetables, we also had homemade soup. I wish that i had taken pictures, I will next time. We both couldn’t eat it all ,So guess what’s for lunch today yea! Please keep up the great services & Atmosphere & perfectly cooked food.

Service here was awful felt rushed to eat and pay for food after the cook was done so they could sear other guests. I asked the waitress for an additional box and she got nasty with me because I did not want to add my chile food in my box. Drove too far to get bad service at a half way decent restaurant. For the waitresses to come asked me why we did it leave a dec tip check your attitude lady then you would have received a much bigger and stop talking about customer to the staff in the kitchen because you gave poor service and you got the tip you deserve.

So much FUN, DELICIOUS FOOD & DRINKS!! Everything was fresh, great entertainment by the chefs and our Waitress was great. I don’t have a bad thing to say about this place, it was everything I hoped it would be. We didn’t have a reservation so we had to wait 40 minutes but I’m so glad we did. (We shopped around the Plaza while waiting.) The soup that comes with our meal was seriously so good and flavorful! The salad was very fresh tasting. Our chef was excellent. He was very professional and accommodated all of our special requests (allergies, likes, dislikes, etc.) He did a big fire and also popped shrimp into our mouths from his spatula. Our steak,chicken, and shrimp was very fresh and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was very punctual and never let our cups below half empty. The people that we were seated next too seemed to be in a bad mood and the grills definitely keep it toasty in there so no need to bundle up if you run hot easy like I do but seriously, this was the best food I’ve had since visiting Virginia. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone at Shogun for making our meals and our night.

Before the pandemic this place was alittle better.
Scallops were undercooked* shrimp overly cooked.
We called and said we were 4(3 adults and 1 child)
The set 3 plates not 4. Until we requested for a 4th space for my child.
Soup tasted awful that we basically just try it and left it there.
Due to the poor service we decided not to leave a tip.
At the end of the meal. I had to usedthe restroom when I can back to leave my husband told me the owner of yhe place was so rude to him because we didn’t leave a tip. As far as I know tips are voluntary .
The Owner( an Asian older fella) I came was so rude that he didn’t even introduce himself, he went straight to the point of ” why we didn’t leave a tip?”
Then when we gave him the reasons he began arguing.
My husband a gentleman he basically didn’t say much back to the restaurant owner.
What kind of person does this?
This person shouldn’t be running a restaurant.
