Stopped by for a quick coffee while house-hunting with a client. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm customer service and stylish, inviting decor. Plenty of seating made it easy to relax and enjoy our drinks. Great spot—would definitely stop in when I the area!

This Shipleys has been run by the same owners for a long time and they are as enthusiastic about their store and service now as they were years ago when I first tried them out.

I bought 2 apple fritters and 6 doughnuts. 1 lemon filled, 1 strawberry filled, 1 apple filled, 1 Boston cream, and 2 regular plain but delicious! The plain doughnuts were just slightly crispy and had just come out, so they were absolutely delicious!!
I love their fritters but I can only eat half of one at a time/or in a day because they are so rich in flavor! And, I usually eat that half of fritters with water or a cold glass of milk! YUMMY!!
The staff there are fantastic. I’d say it’s a family run business which makes me more likely to return, even at 5:30 a.m.!!

I really like the Shipley’s donuts next to Starbucks on the IH 35 frontage road near 3009. The manager, Flory, is so friendly and manages the store well. There is always a good selection of donuts available, along with 4 types of kolaches. She doesn’t get many requests for decaf coffee, so rather than have a stale pot sitting there, she makes a fresh, small pot when someone requests decaf like me! I don’t mind waiting a few minutes for hot, fresh coffee! The store is clean and they have a rewards program and specialty coffees. What more could you want?

I want to thank the staff at this location! I made a mistake of ordering online super early in the morning and didn’t make it there til an hour later yikes I know ! I called and was lucky enough that they were able to accommodate me and even said they’ll give a fresh order. It was indeed fresh! The kolaches were warm and delicious. Coffee was made on the spot! This is now my favorite location 🙂 you guys made my day!

I love this location the staff is always nice and have amazing hospitality. After my morning visit today I will not be returning I received some old do-nuts they were dry icing was falling everywhere it was so ridiculous. Those do-nuts should have been thrown away not given to a customer.

We go to get donuts at least once a week while we are visiting in Texas. I don’t have anything against Texas donuts but I really think Michigan has the best variety, hands down. All I see here are mostly glazed donuts with various sprinkles. We have glazed, cinnamon sugar, nutties, maple rolls, every kind of cream-stick, pumpkin, chocolate (plain and glazed), powdered sugar, dark chocolate chip, lemon, bear claws, fruit-filled, peanut butter, eclairs, and on and on. Our grandkids can’t wait for their favorites when they come visit us.
