Why hire people who don’t comprehend English?!? I asked what the difference was between Spaghetti main course and the spaghetti side? She said spaghetti meatball? I said no, what’s the difference between the 2 spaghetti’s on the menu. She showed me 1 take out container.
At that point I knew it was worthless to try and just went with a slice. Which didn’t live up to Sbarro reputation. I think it had about 1/4 the normal cheese amount. Don’t waste your time trying to eat here. That taste was pretty bad and service was even worse.

Kaitlyn… how i spelled your name right. I sat back and watched between you and Burger King. Based on watching both kitchens it was hands down Sbarros. I assume she’s the manager. She was running circles around her entire team. You need a new support group. I see how hard your working. As a trucker and first meal of the day. Im grateful for your cleanliness and effort. My only issue is, I could’ve walked off with this great pizza and delicious bread sticks and great chocolate cake for free. The cashier was none the wiser that i didn’t pay. When i told her i needed to pay, she looked at me as if i was not smart for saying something. Integrity I stand by. Kaitlyn is a one woman show. But her crew doesn’t have her back.
Burger King next door is horrible. They were eating on the sandwich line with gloves on. In their phones with gloves and not paying attention to any thing but themselves. So much cross contamination. No hand washing of any kind. I would never eat there with they display they put on especially when Kaitlyn and Sbarros right there kicking ass and taking names. Tighten up BK
Kaitlyn and Sbarro I genuinely thank you. At almost 5pm this is my first meal of the day. It means a lot. Especially being away from home.

At the time of this review I’m still trying to decide whether to gag down the second slice or throw it away.
Crust was doughy. Maybe they’ve changed their recipe, same consistency and flavor as Pilot gas station pizza. Not the Sbarro flavor I remember.
Employee (male) did not heat pizza, I left thinking it must be fresh out of the oven. A 3 min walk back to my truck, on a warm day, and found the pizza to be ice cold. $12.43 is a ripoff for 2 slices of COLD pepperoni pizza and no drink
Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly; they didn’t say anything except the total of the bill. They seemed to be having a blast with one another, though.
Pretty much sucked and I’ll try something else next time.

I have been coming to this restaurant through my 4 years of driving trucks. I’ve never had a problem until the last few years. The african couple that now runs it, the woman straight up ignores me and will make me stand there for 5 minutes b4 she even acknowledges I’m there. That’s when the man will come over help other blk ppl in line be asking what I want. Today without fail..it was done again.. you’re in a service plaza in MAINE where all types of people come in, and you only want to serve ONE demographic of ppl?
All white drivers should stay clear of this place. Tired of this double standard. I only go there because there’s only a burger king along side it or a dunkin… looks like they’ll do from now on, because I refuse to give these people my money ever again.

Pizza is what you expect. Kinda like cafeteria or amusement park pizza. Large servings. Got Mac and cheese as well, honestly was very surprised at the quality, highly recommend it! Nice, quick service! Not a bad experience just not great pizza. If you have your heart set on pizza, you’ll end up heartbroken. Probably won’t be coming back, but not a horrible spot if you’re in a pinch.

Update: It still sucks. And no it’s not “occasionally”. I went again today and the buffet was closed and even though the pasta was there and out he refused to serve it to me because he said pizza only. Just close this stupid place already. Why do you bother being open????!!

I stopped into Sbarro for a quick slice of pizza and got about what I was expecting. While the slice was certainly large and filling, it was also quite greasy and oily. The crust wasn’t particularly crispy or flavorful, and the cheese and sauce seemed a bit bland and underseasoned. Overall, it’s not the best slice I’ve had, but in a pinch, it will do.
