I’ve eaten here twice. The first time was very good. This time only the chowder and fries were very good but the fish wasn’t so good.
A ton of water came out of the fish and made the batter soggy. So much so the fish easily fell out of batter. Also I ordered halibut and they must have mistaken one basket for another because I’m pretty sure the fish I got wasn’t halibut.

Ship Out is definitely one of our favorite go to spots. You’re always guaranteed to have tasty eats and polite service. Their halibut fish and chips are great. Their chicken “burger” is always tasty and their hamburgers have that delicious charbroiled taste, that makes your mouth water and your belly happy. The seafood chowder is also good. And on top of all that, their fries are some of the best, crispy, tasty fries I’ve ever had!
Take out or sit down in their cozy, funky building. It’s a fun place to share a meal. Don’t skip out on Ship Out!

Some of the best halibut fish and chips I’ve had. The seafood chowder was one of our favorites on our trip to the area. The french fries were great also. The service was fantastic and loved the funky space… Will make it a priority to go to this place again when we are back in the area.

Large halibut, 2 oyster shooters, half order oysters. There is a bit of a wait, but food is fresh. Large pieces of halibut cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Oyster shooters cold and fresh. Large portions worth what you pay. Breading is crispy and light. Tarter isnt too dilly but is full of flavor. Fries were fresh and crispy. Plenty of seating indoor or covered outdoor. The young guys that work there are all friendly.

Food is delicious
We tried halibut, cod, shrimp, and cheese burger and all were good however the fish and chips batter was too greasy.
Service is basically not existing as you have to go order from the kitchen and grab your food yourself.
The interior doesn’t have a restaurant vibe but still was very interesting because of a lot of artworks they have there

Decided on cod and prawns and it was not a mistake. Batter is super tasty. The seafood chowder is super good and hearty too. Had to come from Sacramento to get some decent fish and chips, glad I dropped by!

Delicious halibut in thick crisp batter. Breaded fries. Savory clam chowder… Everything was fresh and delicious.
And, it was a cold day outside so it felt wonderful to step into the large greenhouse seating area. Crafts surround the seating and it is quite enjoyable to be sheltered from the cold breeze. A tropical vacation from the gray of winter while you eat. 🙂

we got the halibut fish and chips and a cheeseburger. the halibut was super juicy and the batter was both crunchy and still soft, one of the best halibut fish and chips I’ve had on the coast period. tartar sauce was delicious and the fry batter was very nice and crunchy too. everything had a great flavor and perfectly seasoned just enough to let the fish shine.
service was super nice and the prices were very fair especially in comparison to others along the coast. i did not take a photo but the 2 halibut pieces I ordered were HUGE, much bigger than I expected when I just ordered 2 pieces!
