Reviews
Meat looked weird had dark spots? Not usual in this another bbq spots.
Rice tasted stale and old.
$40 for this quality meat is not it.
Kimchi tasted off.
Would not come here please save your time and money and taste buds there’s so many other better places worth your money
Not an authentic japanese bbq experience too
Sad. Disappointed.
I came in during their happy hour and received $5 off their silver menu which is an excellent deal if you like appetizers, wagyu, or short ribs. The wagyu is very fatty though, so be careful of jumping flames and hot oil! It might be a good idea to turn the heat down just a little before you cook it.
if I could give it 0 stars I would.
It was empty, but the good reviews made me ignore it. I paid $40 for the silver ayce but the quality of the food here is not worth it at ALL.
The meat looks like it was rotting and spoiling and I was scared to eat it there was discoloration. The rice was clearly old and the kimchi tasted bad.
For $40, you should not come here, take your money and have a nice meal somewhere else.
The reviews must be fake because there is no way this many people are rating it so highly.
Also, this is not a proper Japanese bbq experience if that’s what you’re looking for, please spend your money and save your taste buds somewhere else.
However, I did have one issue: when I went to the restroom, the hostess cleared my table even though I had told my server that I wasn’t leaving and would be right back. The miscommunication made things a bit uncomfortable. They kindly offered to serve me again, but by that point, I had lost my appetite.
Bring your big backs because at $29.99, you can get a WHOLE table spread, we didn’t even get close to ordering half of the menu. AND, wash it all down with buy one get one free HH beer or sake.
Then they rolled out the banchan and sauce cart that you can just point to whatever and however much you want. Honestly gave me dim sum cart flashbacks (iykyk).
Everything was SO high quality and UUMPH flavor! And while we were there, I had to try a couple items from their premium menu like a whole steak of garlic butter ribeye, truffle bacon kobe sliders, and *3* braised pork bao buns. Oh my gosh, I would die on a hill for these.
Thanks for reading! ^-^
