I first time trying this place. The staff seemed very nice. I went in to pick up my food. The restaurant in the inside looks very nice and the staff was cleaning when I got there. They had just opened. I would like to go dine in one day. I ordered butter chicken, and two orders of vegetable samosas. I still had an eight minute drive home. . I still had a eight minute drive home. The food was still very warm when I was eating it the samosas were a bit spicy for me but if you like spicy food, it’s perfect for you and the butter chicken had a good amount of chicken chunks like 7 to 9 pieces.

Certainly one of my favourite Indian restaurants in the Silver Spring area! I’ve been here at least a half-dozen times, and I can only recommend the butter chicken with rice and garlic naan on the side… because that’s what I order EVERY SINGLE TIME. It’s that good! Why mess with perfection? I’m sure the rest of the menu is great, but when the butter chicken hits this hard, I’m not risking disappointment by trying anything else!

This was the place I always relied on for halal South Asian cuisine in Silver Spring. They serve authentic food with genuine care and attentive customer service. The place is very clean, and the ambiance is warm and inviting.

We came to Curry Place on a recommendation from our neighbors, who’ve been loyal fans—ordering from here every Friday for over a year! We had high expectations, and it did not disappoint.
We ordered the butter chicken (absolutely delicious), the spicy ghost chicken (definitely lives up to its name!), rosemary garlic naan, onion kulcha (so flavorful), and a mango lassi. Everything was fantastic, though the rosemary naan was just okay for us—it could’ve used a touch more salt or seasoning.
The restaurant itself is cozy and charming inside, making it well worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes! Service was also great!

Best butter chicken in the DMV! Love the lasuni gobi and garlic naan.
There are multiple Indian restaurants near my home and I I’ve tried most of them. I live 45 minutes away and it’s the only place I go for butter chicken. I will happily drive in traffic for their food.

Curry place is definitely the place to be getting good curry. I got the spicy lamb curry and it was good. My friend got the goat curry not the spicy one and it was even better. Overall good food and I look forward to coming back next time

This was absolutely worth the drive from Fort Meade. The chicken in the butter chicken was pre-seasoned before being put into the sauce. The sauce is on the sweeter side, which I prefer. The chicken was little on the dryer side but not a turn off by any means. The naan was probably the next naan that I’ve had. For real for real, I planned to take more photos but the butter chicken was so good I forgot about much of anything else.

Hands down the best butter chicken I’ve had in Maryland/DC. And it always lasts me 2 servings. I’ve never had an unsatisfactory dish from them & I’ve been going for several years now. The mango lassi is on the sweeter/fruitier side.

This restaurant is so good it should be full every night! The Chicken 65 is so amazing as well as the fluffy, buttery naan. The paneer tikka masala is the BEST. Most people prefer the Chicken Tikka masala but I like the vegetarian version! If you’re not dining in, treat yourself to some tchai while you wait.

Friendly service and generous portions at a great value. The naan was fresh and delicious, and while the butter chicken was a bit heavy on the tomato, it was still flavorful.
