My husband and I enjoyed our first stop at this diner on a Saturday afternoon. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The atmosphere shows the care of the owner and every facet of the restaurant showed great care. They serve breakfast all day, but we chose lunch/dinner options. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was excellent. Every part of our experience was what we call an excellent diner visit. We will be back.

Several large signs along I40 touted Sherri Lynn’s but it didn’t quite live up to my hopes (and the signs’ promises). I’d been on the road for a good couple hours and had a hankering for some serious super-local diner food – stick to the ribs and arteries kinda thing. Ham and cheese omelette was generally lacking, and the biscuits and gravy were disappointing – I’ve been trying B&G pretty much everywhere I can the last couple years and these did not measure up; definitely solidly on the lower end of my lengthening list. Service was quick – then I was one of very few customers – however, it was far from enthusiastic. No, I’m not a regular, but I am a customer with a smile on my face and trying to engage and make a connection. Ah well, I trust others have and will have a better experience than I did. Very clean and tidy inside. Do check out the humorous signs in the restroom though.

Stopped by on the way to KC after reading reviews. Was not disappointed. A great local diner with home cooked taste. Late lunch so tried the club with onion rings and the chile. Well prepared and tasty. Wanted to try the pies but was too full to partake. Lots of great looking choices on the menu for dinner. Don’t miss this treat on I-70.

Perfect little diner spot for a stop and go meal! Coming up 70 North, I saw a billboard for it about 8 miles up. Breakfast served all day, plenty of lunch items to choose from too, family owned and operated, and diner prices! 3 meals for $30. Loved it and enjoyed talking with Sherri Lynn’s sister and her daughter was our waitress- lovely people!

We were warmly welcomed and waited on. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious. One of the things that makes this dinner special were the hash browns.

Let me start by saying we pulled into Sherri Lynn’s about 10 minutes before closing, and they happily sat our family of 6. We really appreciate that, since we were on the road and probably would’ve had to eat fast food otherwise… this was a million times better!

My kids loved that breakfast is served all day! All 4 of them enjoyed breakfast for dinner. The French toast was especially delicious- I highly recommend it.

I had the reuban with onion rings. Yum! My husband had the fat boy burger, which was amazing!! Talking with the cook afterwards, she shared that the burger is named in honor of her late brother ❤️ Also, FYI, the cook bakes all the desserts from scratch. We were stuffed, but just had to split one piece of pineapple upside-down cake to share. So tasty!

This is a quaint little place with good food and a very nice atmosphere. The service was excellent. I started to feel like I was one of the family. I will definitely go back when traveling hwy 70. It’s at exit 66. They serve breakfast all day and plenty to choose from the menu.

If you’re ever driving through Sweet Springs, I HIGHLY suggest stopping by Sherri Lynn’s. You can tell these meals are made with a lot of love, and that’s a rarity now a days! You know its good when regulars are waiting outside before they even open!
Affordable, large portion sizes and great quality, large menu with plenty or staples. Customer service was A1. We were brought a sample of her fried chicken which was superb. Thank you ladies! Keep it up.

I just had the absolute pleasure of dining at Sherri Lynn’s Diner and I must say, it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish! The food was mouth-wateringly delicious, with generous portions and flavors that left me craving more. But what truly made my visit stand out was the exceptional service – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel like family. And let’s not forget the cozy atmosphere, which was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. I’m already counting down the days until my next visit and I highly recommend that anyone reading this do themselves a favor and stop by Sherri Lynn’s Diner – you won’t regret it! Five stars isn’t enough, I’d give it ten if I could!
