My coworker and I order lunch quite often from here. The lunch special is not only priced good, there is ample amount of food. It feeds us lunch for 2 days each. The food is flavourful and fresh. Customer service is top notch and our food is ready quick. Thankful we have such a wonderful establishment so close to our office.

I ordered here for the first time and so glad I did! The food is delicious! I had the cashew chicken & veg dish which came with rice and the portion was large enough for 2 servings. Also had side orders of sticky rice=delicious & Thai chili sauce (very hot/spicy). I will definitely order from here again!

Don’t know why this places doesn’t have a higher rating because the food here is delicious! I was sceptical because of some of the reviews but I’ve been getting Pad See Ew and Green Curry for lunch from here for weeks now – and I won’t be stopping any time soon.
It’s easy to order online and just pick up. Their service is great. The regular portions are good enough for 2 portions for me. The lunch menu is a smaller portion and you can order that over the phone.

Best Thai food in Bowmanville! Good portion size, quality, and price. Tried the Spicy Thai beef noodles, Pad Thai, and Spicy Basil Fried Rice. All were great. Ordering was easy and on time using Doordash pickup. Street parking can be hard to find at times.

Got food from there, ordered for pick up through Uber eats. After waiting for 30 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready they said it would take 25 more minutes. They were having issues with the app, but refused to cancel the order even though they didn’t start making the food.
After finally bringing it home an hour later I found that it was it was inedible with barely cooked veggies thrown in and mostly water. New management ruined the place.

The food is really good but I find the portions / protein quantity is lacking compared to other places. There is very little chicken in most of the dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes and found the same for all of them . It’s mostly veggies and/or noodles or rice. Was not impressed

Beef Noodle Soup absolutely slaps! The staff was nice enough to stay open a bit after closing as I cut it really close with timing. So happy they did that, because my meal was SO good! Staff was very friendly, and the food was very reasonably priced. The portions and the quality were great.

Let me preface this review by saying that I’ve been a customer of Bowmanville Thai’s since it first opened, and at one point my family ordered regularly. I believe that they have gone through 2-3 ownership or management changes in that time.
The previous owners were great, and we would order regularly. However, we stopped without meaning to and had only ordered once in several months. At that time, it seemed like ownership had changed, and reviews suggested it.
We enjoyed the food the last time though. No complaints.
I ordered last night, and got my usual basil beef stir fry. It tasted really good, as per usual. Didn’t seem too much smaller, if at all. However, I think it went up in price (it was $19.20). I know things have gone up, but it’s gone up several dollars since the start.
What shocked me was the rice. You get rice with the stir fry, but they now use tiny plastic containers to give you the rice. I felt like a Survivor contestant while eating it. There wasn’t enough rice for the stir fry.
Country Perks gives you a lot more, and it’s not like rice is expensive.
That’s my only real complaint.

I got the pad Thai lunch special at this location and it was delicious, large serving size and very good value. I could see that this place really put effort into preparing their meal, as it had lots of protein and delicious flavors. I got the slightly spicy pad Thai and it was just perfect amount of spicyness. I’ll come back here to try out another dish or lunch special since I had such a positive experience!

Tried Bowmanville Thai for the first time last night and was IMPRESSED! The food was delicious. We had pork dumplings, chicken and shrimp pad Thai, red chicken curry and coconut sticky rice. Service was fast and the staff was friendly. 10/10 would recommend for some yummy food in Bowmanville!
