Went with friends for some breakfast on a Saturday morning. Our server was nice enough, working a lot of tables, but seemed to get rather frustrated through the interactions of dealing with us. We had all paid our bills and were finishing our coffee when we were told ‘you have to get out of here’ after not even an hour of sitting at the table. The food wasn’t really worth it for how much we spent, and definitely not treated right by the staff.

We stayed overnight in Helena on a long road trip, and we liked this place so much for dinner that we went back the next morning for breakfast. The food was all delicious, the prices were reasonable, and the restaurant is obviously kept clean. I’m basing my review on the fact that this is a diner, so obviously it’s not intended to be a fancy, fine dining place. We will absolutely go back to Shellie’s Country Cafe the next time we’re in Helena!

This was a great for the place to stop at for lunch. I love a good salad bar and they had a great selection of things on their salad bar. Customer service was prompt and friendly. Food came out quickly and hot.

Great customer service and one of the few breakfast diner type places in Helena. Our server was amazing. Food was a also good. The country fried steak is frozen so we didn’t try that. The sausage gravy was a bit salty and not homage. Eggs Benny were good.

Service was moderately okay, though it was pretty busy. The server seemed very checked-out when I went and other servers and customers were rude to her, so I can understand why. I’m sure it would have been better if our server hadn’t been treated poorly by her peers and other customers.
