Good food, but a little pricey and very inconsistent with the steaks. I order medium rare every time, and most of the time the steak comes out well done, with no pink in the center at all.

Had my family of 5 there while traveling through and had a great meal at reasonable prices. The waiter was very nice and we never had an empty glass. The decor is nostalgic, signage from an era long forgotten. The staff was very courteous as well as prompt. The food was very good. The reason for the 3 Star rating, is due solely for the fact that the carpet, in at least 1 of the larger dinning areas can only be described as being in a movie theater at the last showing of the night & your feet are sticking to the floor due to all the spilled soda on the floor. The carpet feels so bad, at 1 time I actually needed to grab my leg & lift it, as I was so stuck to the floor. At 1st, I thought it was me, but other members of the party I was with noticed the same as me.

A big change in service. Our waitress was very friendly. Hush puppies was awesome. Our drinks stayed full, the salad bar was all fresh. We got our food pretty fast too. The food was great. We will DEFINITELY be back.

My wife and I had dinner on March 13, the resturant is well appointed with interesting decor. Kaitlin was our waitress and could not have been any nicer or more attentive to us. The price was very reasonable I had grilled shrimp and my wife had the rib eye but the hush puppies were rubbery and not what I was expecting. I could not give 5 stars because there were many bugs alive and dead in the men’s room. I do recommend Shef’s and would eat there again.
