Good food, but a little pricey and very inconsistent with the steaks. I order medium rare every time, and most of the time the steak comes out well done, with no pink in the center at all.

The steak was great, and their prices were reasonable. I haven’t tried anything else yet, but I seen people enjoying other items from the menu.
The decor set a great atmosphere, and the staff seemed friendly. They had large paper sheets over the tables, with crayons for kids to draw while you wait for food.

Had my family of 5 there while traveling through and had a great meal at reasonable prices. The waiter was very nice and we never had an empty glass. Steaks were better than what we had on the cruise we had just left from New Orleans. Give it a try. We was a happy Kentucky crew after eating there on

A big change in service. Our waitress was very friendly. Hush puppies was awesome. Our drinks stayed full, the salad bar was all fresh. We got our food pretty fast too. The food was great. We will DEFINITELY be back.

My wife and I had dinner on March 13, the resturant is well appointed with interesting decor. Kaitlin was our waitress and could not have been any nicer or more attentive to us. The price was very reasonable I had grilled shrimp and my wife had the rib eye but the hush puppies were rubbery and not what I was expecting. I could not give 5 stars because there were many bugs alive and dead in the men’s room. I do recommend Shef’s and would eat there again.

It was pretty good. Salad bar had some questionable looking broccoli, ham cubes, and tomatoes, but the food was good and the complimentary hush puppies were great. I think the waitress was a little stressed because we had a large party…
Love the decor. Everyone at my table looked their food except for the shrimp according to one in our party- he said they were bland. I loved my fish fillets and mac and cheese though. Someone in our party had the Kitchen Burger and devoured it.

Love Love Love this place! We come here at least a few times a year and it is always wonderful with a good menu selection. Great steak, great salad bar, Wonderful hushpuppies! Since they have undergone the name change I have not really seen a difference in quality which is great! My favorite meal is the bacon bbq chicken, it’s wonderful. A great place to eat with the family.
