Had a great dinner tomahawk steak enough to serve a party of four. Absolutely delicious made perfect. The waiter was awesome friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Views are great and the beach is steps away to walk of the large meal. Definitely recommend although it is a little pricey.

Wonderful alfresco dining at the Del Coronado! Delicious breakfast and really really good service. So friendly! We had bagel and lox, the breakfast burrito, the French toast and the veggie scramble. The veggie scramble came with a side of grilled focaccia bread which was the best focaccia I have ever tasted! The breakfast burrito was strange. They put French fries inside. So fun to sit outside and watch the navy planes fly overhead doing their training.

Great meal – food and service. Really enjoyed the tomahawk. The larger portion was enough for 4 of us with the included sides of mashed potatoes and asparagus. The brined pork chop was delicious and enough for 2. Sides of carrots and risotto were also good. Anthony was a great server as were his support staff. Good wine list.

This is a destination all to itself. The atmosphere is relaxed and sitting outside on the patio with the night lights and warm fire makes that much more special. The server made our visit even more memorable than the food which was amazing by itself. Started with the Reserve Old Fashioned and a bottle of Spanish red wine. Pacific Oysters and the Bread service are a must. Enjoy the Sea Bass with Corn chowder and fresh veggies steamed with a Demi glaze. Awesome! The tenderloin was perfect and tender. Juicy with vegetables and garlic potatoes. Ending the meal with fantastic coffee and a complimentary chocolate desert that was beautiful to see and enjoy. Bring an appetite for this establishment. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere for breakfast/brunch. We loved having a view of the ocean while enjoying our food on the amazing patio. However, our experience did differ on different days. I recommend getting there early.

Amazing three tier wait staff. It’s relaxed but It also a nice touch of elegance. The food is excellent and I don’t normally taste my children’s food but the grilled cheese was incredible along with the kids steak!!!

We came to the hotel to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary and decided to take in the brunch in the morning. It was wonderful! The servers were more than helpful attending to our every need, the food was incredible and the atmosphere was unforgettable! Would come here again and recommend this to anyone!

This was a great place to eat while we were visiting. It’s pricey, but extremely romantic. Food was outstanding and service was excellent. The Hotel del Coronado is really breathtaking to see lit up at night, but be prepared for TONS of people.

We completely enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Sheerwater! We were seated on the covered part of the patio which provided an excellent view of the surf. If we had chosen to be seated on the ground-level patio, our view would have been obstructed by a large private event occurring on the lawn.
